Midas got lucky with positions, the fact that Reach didn't scout him first, Reach's lack of vision to an out of base mineral patch, Reach's dumbass decision to bring only 4 probes to fight as rines entered his base, and Reach's poor presence of mind to not catch the rines at the choke point with a stacked probe line. Basically, Midas got lucky in every way possible, and Reach misplayed the game in every way possible. What would have been a good game, was the disappointment of a life time. Reach shouldn't have lost that.  | ||

Every single game that theoretically should have been a tossup went to T1 (unless T1 practiced more but I really doubt it as KTF seemed really set on getting this title). And Reach is the only protoss player who can outplay Midas straight up so what happened is quite sad. | ||

I was really looking forward to this series (particularly Midas/Reach) and was greatly disappointed. I would expect boxer to pull crap like that but Midas? Meh, maybe that was what made it smart, I dunno, but it sucked.In my opinion GoRush was the MVP of the whole series. He came through in a big way. Beating Sync was expected but a good job, and that 2v2 with Rainbow was all Rush. 90% of Zergs would've died to that first MMF/Ling attack while Rainbow was teching greedily, but Rush played flawlessly and always had units in the right places at the right time. I'm happy for T1 winning as an underdog and actually stealing a 2v2 from KTF, but that Midas/Reach game was so gay.I was laughing when Boxer did it to Yellow 3 times, but now I know how the Yellow fans felt. It was so lame and the fucker simply lucked out. One of the best TvP vs one of the best PvT and instead of playing like a man he goes for an all in coin flip? What the hell? I love creative play, non-straight up cheesy play, awkward map specific play, but to just flat out 8 rax rine rush and pray to god that he had close positions and late scout? How fucking lame. | ||
