Voted Khan, and I think Khan will win. But it's not as much an auto-win as some people think. Calm can beat either JangBi or Stork, as he routinely does. A mismatched RorO could get ZvZ sniped by Modesty. Shuttle might be able to beat whichever of Stork or JangBi didn't play against Calm. With lucky matchups STX can take this 3-2 or even 3-1.

Dang man I was hoping to have my fellow fanboy in the chatbox with me tonight. I'll have to go it alone.
I hope STX doesn't disband. They can totally still rally this season, especially of Mini can breakout like we hope, and Clam can get his swag back. Bogus really needs to step up. Let's hope it happens.
I'm convinced Bogus is playing poorly because maps suck for Terran.
I'll just tell myself that to feel better though. I mean his very first game of the season was legit bad, there's no sugarcoating that his timing attack was REALLY awful and...yeah.
But no one is sending Terrans on these maps, save one or two a week. I might take a few days off work to watch STX if they start winning games...otherwise I'm stuck streaming the matches on weekends...I'll be streaming STX vs Ace for sure (I think haha) and SKT vs Khan after so you can take refuge in my STX friendly stream then :p
I'm hoping Shuttle has a good season this year, things are seeming kind of "meh" after his match vs sHy. ><
If STX fans are interested, maybe we should have a large Skype convo during game now that I have a mic? With there being only like 10 of us, we can do this sort of elitist shit.

Aside from ACE, Khan is probably the team that STX best matches up against. Bogus, Calm and Shuttle are all good vP so I don't think it will be the blowout everyone is predicting it to be.

It's not that STX has many decent non-terran players. On KHAN's side it's very unlikely they use a terran, they got 2 great protosses and 2 decent zergs and they like to use a 3rd protoss most of the time, so we'll see a Bogus vP or Bogus vZ.

I've been waiting to be saying this for a few years...
The maps are perfectly balanced. Stop your QQing, that is just stupid. It's just that the current Zerg players are terrible. Why blame maps? I mean, Protoss are obviously more talented. Players like Snow, Mini, by.sun, and of course all of the dragons, movie, and well... anyone in any lineup are just SO MUCH BETTER than all the Zergs out there, which were never talented, just always very lucky. I mean sure, Jaedong is pretty good, and I guess Hydra is OK, but let's admit it, Zerg players are just unimaginative and can't adjust to the metagame. If they were a bit more creative and not end up relying on the same 3-4 builds all the time, then Protoss would have a hard time. Protoss are just better players.

I had no idea 4k was a milestone. Whats 5k?
might be HT, I forget, oh wait you were an HT before? I don't know lol Archon next I think
Here we go, 2nd match coming up
Map is Electric Circuit
Reality in purple at 11 o'clock Hyvaa in orange at 7 o'clock
lings engaging with reinforcements, a lot of lings dead but they kill off the marines.
main terran force still getting picked at by mutas. Lurkers burrowed at the 4th, 2 more lurkers in the making. Lings and mutas arrive to defend. Scan goes off and the lings/mutas engage with the marines. 1 lurker down
reality loses all his forces there. Reality on 6 rax now, he's got a science vessel out
hyvaa has broken through the destructible building leading into reality's main! lurkers rush into the main, bunker just finished, tank there to defend also
Uh oh, hyvaa looking good as he crushes Reality's harassment force at the BR expansion with ease (muta+ling). 6 lurkers out to 3 tanks, Reality pushing the natural.
reality sending 3 tanks to his marine force, they're knocking on hyvaa's door, vessel revealing the lurkers
2 sunekns are down, lurkers are dead! lings arrive with mutas, they're sandwiching the terran force, another lurker down, a lot of lings dead. But Hyvaa manages to save his natural. Vessel manages to get away despite being near zerg units for a long time.
Lurkers take care of the MM, ling muta cleans up the tanks and the SV! hyvaa looking great! He can expand or contain if he wants to and elects for a Nydus!
lings damaging the bunkers! Lurkers in the mineral line taking out the turrets! Terran making a counterattack at the nat but it looks like it's too late!
Seems to me as though Reality played this map like it didn't have a in-base mineral only third, and that really messed up his timings. When he should be played aggressive he just wasn't and when he should have backed off he pressed forward. Really poor play overall.

its just how this map works, normally that would be Zerg's 3rd but this map has that easy inbase third that Terran can't punish lol
Then why send a Terran at all? Attempting to snipe Shuttle? Why does Shuttle even need to be sniped?
Terrans are confident in their TvZ? idk free in-base third is a very Zerg-favoring map trait and should be more balanced out w/ anti-zerg features, but it's definitely not impossible to win TvZ on those maps. These kinds of maps require a more strategic approach, which was surprising because I always think of Reality as being a more strategic player
i don't understand why terrans don't cheese more then if the map is so anti-T. zergs were 4 pooling quite often on la mancha when it first came out and was thought to be a very terran favoured map.

Jangbi defending with 8G, 3Z to about 12 goons for Shuttle, probe micro is holding them off but it looks like Shuttle may push into the main AND JANGBI'S REAVER IS OUT JUST IN TIME!

that's one of the things, but the main thing is the extra base. If you look at all maps with a free third, it historically almost always favors Zerg in ZvT

Nah I meant back at Shuttle's front door. My comment was somewhat lagged admittedly I was referring to the single scouting probe.
JB back on the offensive with 6 goons and 2 reavers.
reavers get a shot off, they damage shuttle's goons. very nice micro from JB his reavers are inching closer and forcing shuttle back, they may be a little too far out
shuttle getting his 2nd reaver, but he has no shuttle
shuttle engages! JB losing 1 reaver, but SHUTTLE LOSES A LOT OF GOONS, 7 goons probably
only a few goons left, JB loses his shuttle, still a reaver
JB moves his goons in, he's taken over the natural
Defender's advantage is really showing this game. Armies are similar but Jangbi loses a reaver! 2+2 to 1R+10G for Jangbi and he's pushing down SHuttle's second! Amazing reaver micro but Jangbi too god, 6 goons taking down the 2nd!

Greedy, no scout after pylon and roro going for hatchery first

This is over, don't kid yourself
That's not how you support your team. =/
Hoping for Bogus vs Z now.
what's wrong with giving your honest opinion? I know that I do the same type of thing as well.
Because mustaju has a chronic depression when it comes to STX, he simply doesn't believe in them anymore

I think you just miss CSheep to support you in the LR
roro getting lair mini finally takes his gas wanting to do damage with 2 gate slowlots? if roro isn't paying attention it might do something but he's got 8 lings out ovie in the main keeping an eye on things
mutas take out the one finished cannon at the nat choke 1 sair finally out now lings attacking the front gateway unfinished cannons being taken down 1 cannon finishes at the nat mineral line...
5 zealots arrive at roro's nat, lings surround the 5 zealots and all 5 die soon after
2 more zealots sent out towards roro's 3rd mutas are finished, Mini getting cannons at his natural
2 zealots score a drone kill at roro's 3rd
mutas arrive at mini's nat before the cannons are up, 1 cannon down, 2 cannons down
first sair is out but it's well outnumbered, cannons warpin in now, lings attacking the gateway at the nat
gateway goes down, probes pulled to defend, pylon down too! 2 sairs killing overlords, 1 cannon warps in zerglings enter into the natural, sairs go down, another sair arrives, probes manage to fight off the lings so far
2 mutas left, lings cleared out but probes exploding
more mutas on the way 2 stargates probably a bit too late especially when he can't even afford to mine 2 gas, another round of lings coming manner drone? oh, it gets sent back
Mini stabilizes but more mutas are on the way and half of the probes at the nat are gone, also the wall is down and zerglings keep flooding in. Not looking good for STX!

That was a horrible build by mini against an experienced zerg. I can understand it if he played a noob and catch him off guard. But Roro saw the zealot pressure from a mile away. Timing was also quite off with the cannons against the inevitable muta counter. Not impressed with STX's new toss here.
The inclusion of KT is going to be too tempting an option for many SKT fans. KT are too good a team to be anywhere near the bottom come the end of the season, but that doesn't mean I wasn't tempted

Antifans aside KT is not going to get 20 or so wins from winners league this time round. So i feel it's a very real possibility.

A potentially extremely glorious possibility. I sure wouldn't mind it, at any rate.

It's the only chance for SKT to win PL. If KT reaches the play-offs you are fucked.
To the numerous STX fans. If you ever go to Paris, PM me. I'll pay you a few beers, bake you a cake, and give you some hugs. Edit : might add some Prozac for you mustaju :-(
STX and KT fans do have one good thing coming up soon (Blizzard TM)... That is STX vs KT match. That means one of the side will get victory! Though losing side, lets not talk about that.

Samsung employees. The reason why the cameras kept on zooming in on that one old dude sitting in the front was because he's some high-ranked important guy in Samsung. I didn't really pay attention to what his title was, but just know that he's some important guy in Samsung who definitely added pressure to Khan to win their game due to showing up in person with his lackeys.
i feel like mini would of had that game in the bag if his cannons were 10 seconds earlier, but maybe that's just a retarded way to think about starcraft lol (aka it would of been impossible for mini to get cannons any earlier). even with losing all those zeals, he forced roro to make so many lings that if mini held that attack, he would of been super far ahead economically.
btw , maybe its just me but ive never really noticed RorO that much apart from him ocasionnally breaking people's FPL, he is really stepping up his game or is it just that ive never noticed him in the bo7 format 5days/week?

He's playing pretty well, and he's getting more face time now, I think, than last year.

lol the first game was so boring. Stork just wasn't ever in danger. When I saw like a dozen lings or more run to hero's third to get those two zealots and then not use them at all afterward, I knew hero was screwed.

Stork's PvZ (now that it's not being used on ZerO) is a thing of refined beauty subtly suited to that map. Jangbi's micro is incredible. The game mini played was completely incompetent.
