UED Gaming has arrived on the Starcraft scene to provide exciting events for you to spectate. UEDGaming.com is supporting eSports by investing in the Brood War foreign scene to bring you live events and high quality gaming.
To celebrate our arrival we’d like to introduce the UEDGaming.com King of the Hill, which takes place on the 15th of October 2011, 19:00 CEST. The event is brought to you live at www.UEDGaming.com. For the players there's a $100 on the line and the community can experience a taste of what’s to come.
On top of that, the event will streamed and casted by none other than Sayle.
We have invited 21 of the very top players of the Foreign BroodWar community to play in a King of the Hill format. The players will be randomly seeded to 20 maps. The first two players will play their game on Fighting Spirit in a Best-of-1 series. The winner advances to play against the third player. The winner of that plays the fourht player and so on and so forth.
Prizes can be earned via a number of ways:
- The Last Man Standing will receive $40
- The player with the Longest Streak (consecutive wins) will receive $60
- If a player manages both these feats (Last Man Standing AND Longest Streak he will win a grand total of $100
- If two or more players are tied for Longest Streak, the $60 will be divided among them.

Fucking a god damn mother son of a bitch thank you yes trutaCz. People act like tournaments are planned for months and months and players have 97 days to reply so that everything can be planned around them. It's very bothersome. Some people weren't invited I guess because they're Zerg, and the other ones that I can 99.9% assure you were invited like Sziky just didn't reply.
GUIDE:
Here's the format for you, the observer:
Insert _x_ player and _y_ player you think should be playing. Message them, ask them if they were invited. Wait for a response. If they respond because you know them personally, great. Calculate how long it took them, ask them if they declined, accepted, or didn't reply. If you don't know them, and they reply, calculate that and again ask them if they declined, accepted, or didn't reply. Add two days to the last option where a player figures in their schedule and knows if they can play the event, and take it seriously. This is how long the organizer waits. Now, for future reference, only ask the player why they are not playing, and not the organizer. Derailing threads with "why is _x_ player that I'm a fan of not included *QQ*" is really an old thing.

it'll finish when the last game is played. to try and put a time limit on something as dynamic as a game of broodwar, let alone 20 is just playing with fire. Potential 12 hour cast or 3 hour cast depending on how cheesy people are.
I'm assuming vods will be posted and linked in this thread after the even, sayle is really good with uploading vods. Even if they dont end up on youtube(again i assume they will) you can always just go to sayles twitch.tv channel and browse through the vods and find it there.
