People who are blaming China are stupid. The safety of the people far exceeds the SPL finals. If anything blame KeSPA who knew there was a typhoon 2 days earlier, who knew flights were being delayed and canceled already and yet made no backup plans. There is no reason why China wouldn't want the event there, everything was setup, people were there cheering. For those of you who said the Chinese hate's gaming, man the WCG was held in China and China has a pretty intense gaming culture with many world class gamers. The biggest losers are the fans all over the world.

Inconvenience is worth not having dead people. It was possible that people would die there, and it's a necessary precaution. Anyone from the US probably remembers how people weren't willing to leave when Hurricane Katrina struck, and look how that turned out. Better inconvenience than potential death.
Let's just hope this finals is the best it can possibly be, with SKT winning in the end.

I was looming over the results spoiler, getting myself pumped to see KT win, and all of them were still ?<>?

At first i was super frustrated that someone forgot to update it, then i saw the POSTPONED and was like :D i get to watch it!
And then i read that it was postponed 2 weeks -_-

I guess i have time to make a photoshop for hype

Glad someone put the note in the small vod thread saying it was postponed because I was bummed I forgot about PL finals. Must really suck for all the Chinese fans who were hoping to see the PL finals in their country, but it really does make sense for it to be in Korea.

I think overall this entire cancellation and rescheduling in Korea was the worst thing that could've happened to BW in China. This is plain and simple, kicking the Chinese fans who were so excited to show up while they're down. Insult to injury, not only did they endure such incompetence in handling this situation, they won't even get a rescheduled event.

If I was KeSPA, I would've done absolutely everything in my utmost powers to reschedule in China. This is so dumb of them I'd be astounded if I didn't come to expect this from them.
