the last two MSLs had 7/8 Zergs in the Semi finals. And the one Non-Zerg was Flash because he is OP. Their map pool is as Zerg favored as it gets.

I don't think it's so much "blaming Hydra for abusing the map" as it is "Blaming the mapmakers for making a map which can be abused so hard".
The blame lies with the tournament organisers who pick these maps when there's sufficient evidence that it favour one race over the other.
the map is horrible. zerg can basically hydra break anywhere. not even hydra break. you don't need to break anything. just decide where to put your hydras and put them there.

Protoss have had enough chances to win more since then though, but they always fell short: Movie came really well prepared for the Ever 2009 OSL finals but got outplayed, Stork got out prepared in the Bacchus 2010 finals, Kal, Free and Pure simply got outplayed in their Ro4 appearances. Those were more shortcomings of the players than racial imbalance

Every map was T>Z in the last MSL and Monte Cristo is bad vs P as well. So it's not even even.

and i remember Movie vs Flash finals, Movie was astonishing, he had bad luck getting to play Flash the unstoppable robot in the finals.
