i mean think about it. if you 12 hatch, there is a considerable chance you can automatically lose due to a build order.
if you do 9 pool, at least you have a timing window. if you do 12 pool, at least you can defend a 9 pool.
of course, 12 hatch is totally viable in a bo3, bo5 zvz series, but at this stage of the tournament, when EVERYTHING is on the line, to go 12 hatch?
either he's doing illegal betting or the CJ coach is making some seriously bad decisions. i am TERRIBLY disappointed, more so after such a brilliant effort by Leta, and I even wanted KT to win too.
you zvz nutholes. 12 hatch > 12 pool > 9pool. It's simple. 12 pool does defend a 9pool. Don't call someone stupid for trying to play zvz in a zvz.
Release... I would reread his post... x.x
i personally think it's in really, really poor taste to accuse Where of match-fixing, not to mention ridiculous - imagine you're a match-fixer - Where comes to you and he's like "i'm a no-name Zerg, but i swear i'm going to get to play the sixth game, if there is one, of the second day of the kt/cj semifinals. if you give me a few million won i swear if i'm playing another Zerg i'll play a somewhat inappropriate but quite standard ZvZ strategy." are you kidding? i wouldn't give him a cent

People have apparently not seen the sexiness in this video:
ofc there are comebacks. hell, some people have turned around a 12 hatch and beat a 9pool. I believe zero did that to JD on benzene. Still, when both people scout each other, a BO win is a BO win. Roo failed miserably thru the midgame and still won.

Did he even fail miserably? I feel like in a normal game, Where would have GGed 5 minutes earlier.

Someone remember Lomo vs Best followed up by the BO/cheese lose from Jaedong vs Fantasy in the PL Finals 2(?) seasons ago.
Kinda feels similiar
Except there was a huge amount of mind gaming/trickery coming from SKT prior to the ACE match (Fantasy putting on the facade that he was consulting with Oov instead of Boxer to give the impression of a macro game, and partial wallin at the nat to make it look like a mech/FE). Remember, Jaedong opened up 12pool too that game, so it wasn't necessarily a build loss for Jaedong
Oh don't get me wrong. The game itself was way more intense. This game was basically over once Where moved his drone to make the 12 hatch.
But the situation that one team was about the lose and that the remaining player won against all odds. (TvT vs Flash. Lomo TvP vs Best at that time) and that followed up by not a comeback but a very fast (anticlimatic) lose.
I see. I think the anticlimactic point is arguable, but I can understand the desire for a long epic game to close a series. Seems to not happen enough in the playoffs D:
Yes CJ fans and KT haters, blame it on ZvZ, BO and hate on Roo, but don't even for a second try to blame it on the CJ coaches for a: not sending out Snow, b: telling and making Where practice 12 hatch.

It probably is, as an OZ fan tho it definitely was anticlimactic.

I think most people are blaming Movie, actually
I still think there's nothing wrong with 12hatching

Well when he saw the stream of lings following his, he was vastly outnumbered. He use 2 mutas to attack a morphing spore. As a result, he loses 2 drones. Then he sits content to make a ton of drones, mine minerals, expand, and drone whore again. I wouldn't be too suprised to see that he had a ton of minerals in his bank when game ended.
edit: There was the one engagement: roo had few lings a muta and a sunken. where had around 15-20 lings. He could've lost a lot of drones if where had committed. I admit that "failing miserably" is a hyperbole, but he definitely could've played better.
