I'm surprised he survived the initial 6 zerglings, I was certain he would be dead. Must have been some nice probe micro? the stream skipped though so I didn't see what happened T_T
Yeah, I know it wasn't an actual all-in. I just thought it was funny that he suggested aggression from Stork immediately before Stork himself crumpled to aggression.
One of the reasons Bisu's PvZ is so good is because he uses scouting information so effectively... Stop with the blind openings Stork. :-/ Especially against someone who's known for using aggressive builds, like soo.

Why not? It's actually how horang2 has won so many of his games. Often when it seemed he was disadvantaged he would add an unsustainable amount of gates and go a 2 base timing attack of some sort. I'm talking like 2 base 9 gateways.

Yeah, it was pretty nice probe micro. I recall 4 lings getting in to the main, and he managed to kill one pretty quickly. I think from memory he then killed another one after a bit of micro back and forth and the odd probe kill, then the last two got cleaned up reasonably quickly when Stork sent a Zealot back.
Something like that anyway. Bottom-line is sufficient probes were killed to put Stork too far behind.
EDIT: I meant sufficient probes were killed when you take the second ling runby into account as well.
How do you "learn" from that. Build orders are essentially locked in at that point, Stork took a risk and suffered from it. Its like "learning" in ZvZ, sure mixing things up can help a bit but you can't really do anything about getting a BO advantage or disadvantage.
What is the counter to stork? It is pool before hatch of course! He hasn't held early pressure well recently so it is almost a guaranteed win vs stork.

soo didn't try and end it. he didn't build anymore zerglings, he used the opportunity to expand and ride the advantage to mid game rather than end it right there.

They spoke about this in one of the joint Bork interviews. Bisu's success with PvZ was narrowed down to an extremely deep understanding of the flow of the game with information gleamed from corsair scout. Stork's PvT? i dunno Starsense? =S
stork should really stop doing this. 12-14nex is much riskier vs.Z than 13-14cc. Because in ZvP zerg goes 9 pool more often than in ZvT.
at least he could scout and then 12nex
he thought - he did 5 pool last time so he won't now? lol, stork was right, but this build loses to 9 pool too, not only to 5 pool, didn't he remember about it? --
