If only movie didn't open nexus before cannon he could have taken the game easily, his control, micro and storms were very good, he just couldn't fight his way up from being in such a disadvantage. s2... that mid-late game was not good.

instead of using timing window with mutas, given by ling run,probe massacre and taking out 1st corsair of movie,he invested into sunks when there was literally no danger for him.

Should have ended it 20 minutes ago with more lings after the first 6 did so much damage.

Seriously, if those first 6 lings didn't do as much damage as they did, S2 would have no chance judging from the way he played for the remainder of the game. He let 4 zealots kill all the workers and the hatch at 5 ffs. So horrible. The guy cannot multitask even a little bit.

Of course that's the reason he won, I'm just trying to explain why he played the rest of the game like he did. If he had attempted some kind of very aggressive attack after the very successful ling harass, he might've lost. Movie has very good control so the way to defeat him (at least for a player like s2) seems to be to outmacro him.

Anyway, I'm predicting Snow.

I'm predicting a Protoss (Snow or Horangeeeeeee) being sent next. No need to send Hydra and risk a 9p vs 12h, when its clear a more competent Protoss (Snow) would 99% trash s2

He couldn't do anything about that. Reavers were out, and s2 a-moved a ground army + scourge. Shuttle couldn't get close enough to pick them up without getting sniped.

Honestly a better protoss could probably have come back. That battle in the middle could have been closer with better observer control and storms, and if s2 had not taken out the fifth, his position would suddenly have looked pretty grim... I really think he was too cautious.

look at that attack on inner 9 in the replay. that was so bad by s2. he threw away a dozen lurkers, several control groups of lings and some hydras just because he had no micro. he even burrowed 6 lurkers together at once so that they died 2 seconds later to storms.
