Anyway. What Flash said in his interview is that terran has to win on the first push or die on bloody ridge. It seems impossible to really play defensively, which probably makes it really hard for rans in TvP. Haven't played it, so if someone has a clue...
Talking about map balance is OK but You were completely exaggerating- look at the stats: PvT: 11-12 (47.8%)
Terran is actually ahead on wins at the moment. I'm not saying it won't turn out to be a Protoss-favored map in the long run but saying it's impossible to win unless the other person's dying or whatever was completely ridiculous and in poor taste.

The terran stats (in that 11-12 figure) come almost entirely from the dream league, and mostly before the map was tested thoroughly. Almost every single televised game has been carriers, and so far its proving to be worse than Katrina. Even the two games that T won in WL (Flash vs Snow and Hiya vs Violet) were vs carriers and were extremely close victories at that. Stating that it is 9-2 in SWL is not exaggerating. If anything, I would say it is you who is exaggerating for suggesting the map is even remotely balanced TvP ("terran is actually ahead at the moment"). The comment about Violet was indeed in very poor taste, but the map itself is a terran graveyard vP if the terran can't end it before the carrier count becomes critical.

In winner league it's 9-2. TLPD stats include leagues which means little since there are completely other categories of players.
Flash said himself the late game was impossible for TvP.
Anyway. I haven't made humour about poor Violet but about the map. You don't like it that's fine, however I haven't been warned for that but for balance whining.

I guess that Flash tried to use the loud astonishment of the audience to make Food5 think there is cheese incoming
