SUP. The commentators knows whats up. Great gonna make cows and hydra's muta will be like wtf?!?! Never played against a hive tech zerg.
Well Hydra said he actively sought help from Woongjin zergs to prepare for the finals so we'll see. Although Zero's ZvZ is nothing to boast about.
Edit: Really wish the media conference could be translated, seems like there was a fair amount of trash-talking there. Plus some stuff January said left me scratching my head. lol

Go seek help from all the stars zerg as he likes, great rolls over any star zerg.
I really really hope hydra wins this. Don't get me wrong, if Great wins then he will have earned the title of 'Starleague Champion' fair and square. But would anyone be surprised if, after this finals, Great never made another Ro8 ever again in his life? IMO the guy is as good as he'll ever be and managed to luck into an easy bracket, not having to face TBLS on his way to the finals. If Great wins today, people will remember his run as a well timed hot streak similar to Casy's ShinHan OSL run or Luxury's LostSaga MSL run and nothing more. The PDPop MSL would then be doomed to be forgotten in the annals of BW history.
On the other hand, if Hydra wins there is a possibility that this could be the watershed moment for a new zerg hero. With the exception of Effort for a few months last year, there hasn't been a consistent #2 zerg behind Jaedong in the modern era of BW. Call it blind fanboyism, but I really think Hydra has what it takes to be an S class player for a long time. If my optimism turns out to be true, then we would be able to look back on this MSL as Hydra's crowning moment. It would be the tournament where he took down the king of ZvZ, Jaedong, and took his place among the elite of Starcraft. Shin Dong Won, don't disappoint me.

No. If great wins, it will be by taking at least 1 game to Hive tech and that alone guarantees that this MSL will NOT be forgotten in the annals of BW history, regardless of what great achieves in his career after this. He will also be breaking Samsung's MSL curse and I doubt Khan fans will ever forget.
Like Ver said in the news thread, I cant see great being a starleague champion, so I think hydra will win it, but this is zvz so prediction doesnt really matter. Hoping for good games.
Dear Hydra..Im going to wake up at 7h30 am tomorrow (after a really hard week) just to see you play and win your first (of many I hope!) starleague! GL and please a 3-1. Thank you very much!
Now seriously I am yet to understand how did a player like great got this far (I missed the beginning of the season so when I got back the MSL was already in the semis and imagine my surprise to see what happened in the OSL and MSL semi finalists) and I cant really see him as a starleague winner. Plus CJ all the way! (or Hite still getting used to it )
Finally it's Great's chance to prove that he can elevate ZvZ above mutas and lings. Hopefully he takes it 3-1. Sad Keanu agonizing over the end of JvZ.
This is the second part of MBC's sacrifice to the BW gods, they agreed to have 2 ZvZ finals in exchange for 3 Flash vs Jaedong finals in a row. They originally wanted 4 Flash vs Jaedong finals in a row, but decided to compromise and have the second ZvZ finals involve hive tech.

Hmm... Ver is amazing when it comes to predictions... He predicted Hydra winning 3:1 but I think it will be 3:2 for Hydra...
SO EXCITED AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA OH MY GOD EVERYTHING IS CHANGING.
BOUT TO BE CRAZY. CAN'T WAIT.
ALSO i LB hydra, but i think people are underestimating great. His ling and muta micro was still fucking great against zero! Not only is he the hive tech master, but he is REALLY solid in lair tech! These are about to be crazy games!!!!!!!!!!!!!
