Stronger mentality? Jaedong always fights for his life like vs Snow. Better ZvZ? Jaedong's ultimate record shows he has Bo5 experience and ZvZ experience that is backed by his micro.. Also Jaedong annihilated Effort... So.. If he has the power of effort he'll probably fall like effort too. Hydra's recent ZvZ records could be a one-time win streak thing which is going to be ended by Jaedong, he doesn't have a good ZvZ history to show consistency like Jaedong Stronger Mentality - Destroys everyone. Annihilates with the CJ face without even blinking. (Bisu Jaedong Calm are just a few examples) Jaedong even admitted he wasnt playing top tier vs Snow. Jaedong probably only takes it seriously vs the likes of Stork, Bisu and Flash. Who else is good enough to take down Jaedong in a Bo5? Hydra Recent ZvZ shows Hydra will be more prepared. Power of Effort in a specialty unit. Explain to me why Hydra's 1 time streak isnt coming to an end any time soon? Let's disprove you one at a time. Stronger Mentality: Jaedong has come back again and again to the Ro4 and finals consistently even after being defeated by the god flash. He has no record of a slump. He has the better ZvZ elo. And he never takes a win for granted. Every interview he tell them he will train harder and win better. Jaedong admitted he wasn't playing to tier to snow: So this means when JD does play top tier its gonna be something fierce. Because he played pretty damn well against a flawless playing snow. Who else is good enough to take JD down? After defending JD, I will admit who can actually beat him. KT Flash. has consistently beat him in the Bo5 last year. and I doubt Hydra is in the same league as Flash. Recent ZvZ shows hydra will be more prepared: ....What?!? JD has the most experience in this match up. He defeated Fake Yellow in the finals a couple years back. He's more then prepared and more experienced. Power of Effort in a specialty unit: That makes no sense. So Im going to assume you mean he's alien to. Which is unlikely. Explain to me why Hydra's 1 time streak isnt coming to an end any time soon?: . .. ... JvZ...that is all Stronger Mentality- DO YOU EVEN WATCH THEM PLAY? Jaedong has been shaky as fuck while hydra just stomps people down. Other than his series vs Snow .. I was just saying that Jaedong's Bo5 Record was tainted and probably stopped working after Flash took him down so many times. Recent ZvZ. How many ZvZs did they both play since Early December? Effort was well known for ling control. JvZ doesnt exist anymore. its done. now its normal ZvZ because Jaedong cant dominate from a BO disadvantage anymore.
remember like 2 years back when Fantasy first started being good? Jaedong spent like a month dropping games to noobies and got schooled by fantasy, even letting his team down in proleague finals. What happened 2 weeks later? He won a motherfucking OSL. Never count out the dong

We need a Zerg to fill the hole Effort leaves... but not tomorrow.... GO JAEDONG!!!!!! Legend Killer!!!

lol who forgotten Shine? o.o Definitely not me. That guy has insane micro, and the best part that he doesnt even seem to put any efforts in it (while others sweat like hell when trying to do some micro tricks).
And Hydra is good, regardless of the outcome of 1/2, he won't be "forgotten", as he has a highest-class standard game.

People forget just how awesome JD is because he's been overshadowed for quite some time now by perhaps the greatest player to ever play the game. But when was the last time JD lost a Bo5 to someone who wasn't Flash? He only got knocked out once from a Starleague during the entire 2010 to someone not Flash, and that was by Baby in a Bo3 if I remember correctly. Other than that I don't think literally any human has stopped him in any BoX since Clam back in 09.

24% for Hydra lol. I think Hydra have a slight advantage, but I can see him losing if he gets too nervous and mess up his micro. If Hydra plays like he's been playing lately I think he will win 3-1 or 3-2, maybe lose 2-3 if Jaedong play godly.
It's quite depressing knowing that if Bisu had beaten Stork, and then rolled Zero and great, we would have had a Bisu vs Hydra/Jaedong finals. How epic would that have been?

except zero would have rolled over bisu

I can't call myself a true JD fan because I can't say he'll win for sure =/ I never like the ZvZ matchup as I always say it's 50/50 but I really hope JD pulls through and gets that gold badge.

It only looks like his micro is insane because his playstyle features nothing else. A lot of Zergs can match his micro but they rely on their macro a lot more which is why you don't notice it as much. When half your games are all ins, all that's going to be showcased is your micro. Not to say Shine's micro is bad, its actually really good, but its not "insane" and theres quite a few zergs who could match / beat it. Even Great's shown some really good muta micro lately and its not like he's making any starleague fi-......oh....right

Jaedong is 6-2 75% since last December. A HUGE 1% dropoff from his 76% win rating in zvz. Lol. Ok Jaedong is mortal, and Flash has gotten the better than him last year, but come on, what reason is there to believe JvZ doesn't exist?
Jaedong to win comfortably 3-0 or 3-1.

You know, I feel that same way and yet Jaedongs ZvZ is the most consistent (highest win rate) mu in all of pro-gaming. Better than any of FlaSh mu's (although his TvT is getting disgustingly close), or Bisu's or Storks or anyone, ever. If you want to look at stats there is no safer bet in pro-gaming than JD vs zerg. Hydra's streaking right now, thats nice; Jaedong has been streaking for arguably his entire career.

Everyone ready for tonight?
WL too, that will fill the *gap until 3AM..
XD

Jaedong win this please, so I can see you play hive tech zvz. Don't really care about hydra >.>

lol, what a joke. You're not allowed to post pictures without having extra text attached to it. The only reason why I didn't add any text is because what I wanted to say was already in the picture and without the picture noone would get it. But maybe I should've added extra subtitles?
