Jaedong's recent loss to Hydra was a massive BO loss, 9 pool vs. 12 pool. There was about a 99% chance of victory for Hydra with those BOs. That game against Bisu was most likely a one time thing. As for Jaedong slumping: lol. He's at 32 wins - 12 losses (72.73%) since the start of the new season and the only questionable losses were against Hogil and Violet while Hydra has losses against Action and Stats, so comparable quality players. Interestingly enough, Hydra has 37 wins - 14 losses (72.55%), so they're about equal there too with Hydra having to clean up more Winner's League matches while Hiya seems to have returned to form for Oz meaning Jaedong doesn't play as much.

As for everything else you said, Hydra is largely untested so you can't claim anything about his BO5 capabilities which is massively different from PL. Jaedong has more experience, better multitasking and better ling micro, while they might have equal muta micro. Jaedong should comfortably take this 3-1, maybe 3-2, assuming Hydra loses the first match.

Guys I actually had a dream, a dream about a Tyrant, strong and evil, he was the greatest ZvZer through all time and he was a true champion. He ruled with an iron fist and brought fear and terror to all those beside (under) him. He was darkness. But then, I saw this light, this little flicker of light, I thought I was dead and saw that light in the end of the tunnel you know but then I saw a face and it was a face of an Hydra and I was wondering why combine light with a Hydra, arent they like evil and stuff. But then I saw it... it wasnt really a Hydra. It was looking like a Hydra, but more like something was inside of that Hydra. Then I saw a mans face, it looked quite grim and hard and the most intriguing part was that he had "HYDRA" printed on his forehead. The light got brighter and brighter and then I got almost blinded and somehow somewhere I saw those characters fight out like giants over a chasm. I didnt actually see any hits or so but I knew they were fighting and it was a fierce fight.

After this I woke up and I can tell you I have never been as mad at my alarm clock as I was then at that time.

jaedong 3-2, hydra's gonna put up a good fight. though if he doesn't start up fast, i'm feeling he might get 3-0'ed. on the other hand, jaedong has been weird lately, so oooh need to see this unfold

ok i see that there's a feeling that Hydra's winning... lol it seems that some Starcraft gods have the will to see Hydra in the finals...

But that all doesn't matter, JD should just prepare as always.
Btw, maybe "death stare" isnt really the best thing? Lol, I've watched some recap of one of JD's 2008 or 2007 games and he was actually smiling when playing, and also making round eyes like this "O_o omg what this noob is trying to do lol ^_^ ". That's even stronger imho. ^_^
