While game 3 was truly impressive and well executed, game 2 was a blind counter to rvr play into a simple 5 fac(?) timing push and game 1 was Stork wasting his army when he was 18 supply short due to building carriers. Disappointing, I guess oov deserves most of the credit for telling Fantasy what to do t.t | ||

Casy and July are the only 2 champions that you could even argue didn't deserve their finals win. Not only did Fantasy make it there against a wide range of foes, but he found out how to defeat a more talented opponent. You can say BO win, but he gave himself the BO advantage in the first 2 games by reading Stork like a book. | ||

I think we should all just say savior has 4 msl titles because he totally would have won if Bisu used a different build. In fact, Flash doesn't really deserve any of his wins either. All he did was use a good BO's and have better mechanics than Jaedong, but THAT'S IT! Hopefully kespa develops a better way to determine who the best starcraft play is in the future, because playing the game obviously isn't working. | ||

Call it "Reading his opponent", "mastering of the meta game", "winning the mind games", it still is not impressive. It's just that, a Build order win. Exactly, that's what I'm saying. If you have a bad game, or even a bad minute where you have 3k minerals, Kespa should just stop the game and boot you right there. Clearly he was an inferior player, and Kespa should have just not have let him play in the rest of this tournament, or tournaments to come (i think a 5 OSL ban sounds fair right?). And the fact that he played horrible opponents is yet another way kespa droped the ball. After any osl, the "winner" should have to play the kespa top 5, and if he loses to any of them, he doesn't get the title. Just give it to flash by default (he has the best win percentage, which is what you are basing a player's ability on). Better yet, lets just skip the qualifiers, Ro36, Ro16, and Ro8 straight to the semi-finals. That way, we make sure that the winner has to play only good people on his way to the championship, and it will make sure that a travesty like casy or fantasy will never happen again. | ||
