well I guess there's no point in watching the MSL anymore, i don't stay up until 5 AM to watch 12 minute games that only involve flying mutalisks around for the entire match with the occasional build order loss

Stork simply gave Zero the first game so he wouldn't kill himself after the humiliation of how hard stork will bend him over. haha :D Zero 3-0 pwnage! Stork the hippocrit even skipped WL matches to practise while Zero was owning Flash. And once blamed Flash for practising for individual leagues while there were proleague match for his team. I think he deserved to get owned. And Zero is pretty damn good so theres no shame.

I question his choice to take 9 oclock but its really difficult to patrol units between 9 and 12, the map is so big.You cant just be passive cause as we saw JD just took 6 uncontested. Jd's mineral only allowed him to assault that 12 with lings only, this was the major difference between that game and the one on benzene (aside from the storm drops as well), JD was on 4 gas for most of the time in both cases but that extra minerals from 5 really paid off in the last game. I think the map has the same problem as all big maps like andro or FS, toss takes relatively easy 3rd gas but securing a base after that w/o having like a huge lead is very difficult

But you cannot deny the fact that storks OSL semi and final played a part. And now to all people who are going to scream Flash and Nada did it. Yes they did, but that does not change the fact that it does play a part. First off, Stork is not Flash or Nada. Stork is not on that super high level that Flash and JD etc has been on. Second you cant just say that he did it so it applies to this situation. There are so many aspects to a situation like this. Flash had terran maps, stork had to fight on zerg maps. How did the MSL and OSL games play alonside each other. To have a ro8 at the same time as a ro4 and final is different then playing maybe ro8 at the same time. you also has to take into consideration that when for example Flash won dual gold, he and JD were raping BW and it was kinda obvious that they would play in both finals. Also its different to be in this situation when you are Nada and Flash, who at that moment are the best, have won starleuage last season, then for Stork who won his only OSL along time ago and have not really been near the absolut top for a while. When stork prepare and go up in a ro8, his mental focus is more likelly to be on his chance to yet again win OSL then what it would be for Flash who or Nada. What I mean is that Flash was in a situation were he had a easier time to put focus on the stuff he needed then Stork who had seen his glory days go away and now suddenly have gotten a second chance to be on top. Also Boxer, Oov, Saviour, JD, Bisu and so on never won dual gold. So does that mean they are all crap? The point being. Sure you cant say Stork lost due to the OSL, but you cant say it does not matter. In this serie he played a really good zero who managed to put up is A game when he needed to. STork on the other hand had to much that drew his focus he could not put in the same amount of practice, he had to battle on zerg maps and most important, he was not on top during the games. Its not an easy thing to go far in both MSL and OSL, even if it of course can be done!

He will undoubtedly continue to be excellent for many years to come, but his god-mode phase is most likely over. Then again, a full recovery from CTS is not exactly unheard of, so this may just be a bump in the road. It will be just a bump. Flash won't be retiring for some time, and he will definitely remain a top contender (if not THE top contender) for a very long while.
