The good old hydra bust almost worked, there was some luck factor in the last reaver hits that turns the game.

But I will agree that the hydra busting strategy was lame, Snow definitely had top reaver control but still almost lost against a not very well-controlled hydra army.

I saw that too. I might be wrong but I thought that right before that instant Jaedong overmicroed his hydras so they spent a split sec moving closer instead of finishing off the reaver.

This last reavershop on the ramp which killed like 6-8hydras seemed totally unnecessary though. Would like to see the replay, but it looked like Jaedong just turned around his hydras when the reaver had like 10hp, just then realizing it is not dead yet.
Before that shot I thought the game was over.

This seems like JD from two years ago playing. But even his micro didn't seem that great in that game (I didn't see game 1 so I don't know if it's just hits game where his micro slips). I thought there was a chance he still might have the game when he switched to mutas. He was pretty much, desperately trying to cut down the corsair numbers and I don't remember exactly but when he had 6+ scourges and Snow's sairs were just sitting there JD tried to hit them but he either cloned them poorly and only killed one or an archon nearby splashed most of them.

Argh... he lost 5-6 hydras to that dying reaver for nothing. I didn't think it would mean anything, that he would win anyway. But in hindsight, that unforced error probably cost him the game.

Snow's reaver control was simply flawless, there's nothing else to say about this. Maybe JD should have researched drop instead of making mutas but it's done now.
