Navi 5286 Posts December 28 2010 11:54 GMT #183 there are so many people making notes on what the pros "should be doing" instead and more than half the time the recommendations suck loool most pros have a more than competent sense of decision making of course there are small improvements that bystanders can suggest but for the most part they usually will make the gamebreaking ones themselves (please don't look at killer when i write this)

oBlade United States5956 Posts December 28 2010 11:57 GMT #184 Mutas are very costly, and they're bad in that situation because you have to invest even more into upgrades or a greater spire so that your mutas can do something besides be an ineffective meat shield. The guy had 3 evo chambers running and was doing great with pretty cheap armies, his plan was fine. You can't point to one time like 20 minutes into the game when you think Bogus has no antiair and say Soulkey made a mistake by not turning into Jaedong.

At the very least you force the terran to make a bunch of goliaths rather than cost effective tank/vulture combo. But when you're macroing from 4-5 bases, mutas suck hard against MnMs. There's just no amount of APM enough to control your army and micro mutas..
