On his good days, he can beat 90% of progamers. On his bad days, he can lose to 90% of progamers. I'm rooting for him, but classic and movie both have good vZs.
Best part of the game was harass. Other than that it was slightly below average pvt. It gets a no from me, but you may like it if you like the matchup or harass.

lings all up in shy's base, more on the way 2nd cannon finishes but lings take down the forge not really sure if that was worth it; 2 hatch muta followup incoming but shy is very well cannoned and has a sair looks like hyuk is doing what hyuk does best

shy's corsairs are working overtime hyuk's main is almost mined out and we're 17.5 minutes in to the game and it's still low econ 2base vs 3base so silly shy with a dt out in the middle of the map hyuk with 2 drones at his 3rd
sizable hydra drop in shy's main forces him to pull his forces back storms still wrecking the hydras i think a dt took out hyuk's third while that was going on? don't see a hatchery on the minimap there
Highly recommended game, that was one of the more entertaining games I've seen in a long time. Starcraft at its razor-edge finest! Not quite on the level of Flash vs Bisu WCG 2009 on HBR, mind you, but still pretty damn entertaining.

If you did not find that game intens and therefor fun to watch something is very strange. Games do not have to be uber super mega pro to be great games to watch.

O_o You have a really weird taste in SC.
You can't be serious! When the difference between winning and losing is a handful of units and barely warping-in defensive structures that goes back and forth over and over, it's really easy to see how players' control and skill directly leads to their victory. When it's a macro game where players build units at their chokes while taking bases, it's a lot less interesting IMO until much later in the game.
Back and forth micro battles are the heart and soul of starcraft -- it's why we fell in love with boxer. It's why Tempest vs Light was so amazing, one dragoon with 37 kills. Do I really have to elaborate?
minemineminemine observer out shuttle dropping the main tank and vulture taking out probes at movie's 3rd scarab gets 5 scvs 2nd scarab get 4 more then 2 more then movie loses his reaver meanwhile the 3rd nexus might go down survives with 40 hp
reaver up to 16 kills dang those were hella good scarabs classic not very good at running his scvs properly I guess? I have no idea who is winning at this point dropship goes by movie's third and fourth but cannons and goons put a stop to it and everything dies shuttle and reaver go down in classic's main as well I still have no idea who is winning at this point movie expanding again to his center expo arbiter is out
movie attacking uphill; classic with not the best positioning really good stasis gets 3 tanks a vulture and a vessel looks like movie is gonna take this

Really special stuff like Tempest's goon are awesome, but I almost always prefer games where unit control is the least important aspect of the game. ^__^ Macro, timing, strategy, positioning and stuff like that are much cooler.
Wow its kinda impossible to try to follow this game by reading in here. I cant watch the stream so if someone could explain what is happening that would be great?

goon reaver armies fighting each other, looks like shy is coming out on top

Movie... WTF were you thinking?! You went for templar tech instead of reavers, but then you morph all your HTs into Archons and never use a single storm. EPIC FAIL.

really? nothing in either of his games was particularly impressive to me. maybe his storms vs hyuk? you don't have to be that good to beat hyuk and movie
Might want to fix the OP results, everyone is bolded, but I guess you can still tell you won and lost by looking at the winners vs winner and loser vs loser match

Hyuk is good vP, usually; he had a 58% winrate before this. Movie did all of the failing by himself as his PvP is apparently atrocious. Still, I call somebody who can go 2-0 in his first televised games pretty good.
colony morphs into a sunken, second colony placed. A handful of marines and medics are moving out. 5 lings trying to delay. Hydra den has just started at the nat
Spire has finished. Meanwhile Classic is throwing up some turrets, adding barracks and a factory.
Machine stop added to the fact, starport half done. Mutas fly in and destroy an SCV
Queen's nest in the making for Hyuk. Marines and meds on the move, Mutas doing their dance around picking off any stray marines. Classic keeping it tight though.
Hyuk going to Hive, mutas pick off another marine, classic adding two more rax making a total of five

OZ protoss...says it all
As our lord and Jesus once said, "Hwaseung Protosses are the best Protosses."
I remembered that and was looking for it, finally found it now.
"Backho: I sincerely thank all the fans who’ve supported me all this time, and I want to say something to Perfectman. Perfectman has had a lot of pressure lately. The every race rule of course creates this kind of burden, but he had to bear it all on his own. If he kept losing he’ll definitely be dejected. But as a progamer, everyone has slumps, so I hope he can walk out of it, and do well next season. Let us work hard together, and make everyone say “Hwaseung Protosses” are “the best Protosses!”"
Tanks bust the sunkens, marines looking to move in, lings are being sent in to die? Defiler has no energy as the lings have run off. Irradiate on the defiler, lurkers kill a few marines. Guardians finish morphing. Swarm goes over the tanks, Marines enter the main, they target fire the defiler mound, lings come in but back away. Marines change targets and start killing the pool, it goes down! Guardians arrive too late the pool is down
Hyuk rebuilding his pool, drop ship once again drops marines into the main, this time the defiler mound goes down! Hyuk is in really bad shap. Guardians still around and destroy whatever marines are left.
Hyuk stopping all advances to his nat by placing some lurkers near the bridge.
Pool is rebuilt, defiler mound being rebuilt now. Mnm attacking Hyuk's third while dropping at the same time, drop is stopped cold by scourge. Attack at third is halted by swarm
classic has taken the 6.5 expo Irradiate on a single guardian.

Hyuk making a lot of lings. Vessel cloud is getting huge, scourge are just sitting there even though the vessels are so close by. Classic expanding to 11 Attack at Hyuk's third, d-matrixed marines fighting zerglings. Not enough units to break that expo though.
Lings fighting nothing but mnm at Hyuk's nat, that's a lot of vessels. Dark swarm saves the day
Ultralisk are out. Vultures laying mines right at Hyuk's nat. Factories being made up at 11 o'clock
Drop ships going to Hyuk's main, one gets taken out by scourge, the other drops, lings fail to kill the marines. Marines take down a single hatchery at the main. Ultra pops and cleans it up.
Classic irradiates ultras and hyuk runs them into marines causing a lot of damage to the marines. Ohhh eraser over the drones at Hyuk's fourth.
Mines completely wiping out ultras, the ones that survive get no real support from defilers as they are irradiated
Plague over the marines which stems the attack for now. Vultures running around left and right. A single mutalisk is made. Mnms owning irradiated ultras. Hyuk has barely any units, his army is relatively small compared to Classic's.
Ultra and lings fighting off a control group of marines and meds, d matrixed marines > ultra and lings
another nice plague on the vessel cloud and some scourge take a few of them down drop at top right natural, dropship gets scourged as it runs away units cleaned up by lings
drop gets 9 probes and kills a goon with mines - pretty good considering that movie had his goons on top of it almost immediately classic with a wraith taking down random arbiters around the map classic tries another drop and this one does nothing the dark archon is prepared to mind control the arbiter but classic's wraith is attacking it but the archon gets it off just as the arbiter runs out of shields looks like the whoe point of this was a faster than normally possible recall but classic has wraiths and he nearly snipes the arbiter by saccing two wraiths - it's left with very little health another cloaked wraith (lol) comes in and kills the arbiter
classic has taken his nat and movie is only now mining from his backnat so it's 3base vs 3base
I think movie is expanding to the other main's back nat - he at least has something there looks like classic's wraiths spooted whatever was there movie has his min only up and mining
movie attacks into a defensively positioned bunch of tanks at classic's third, doesn't go so well for him classic with a base at the other main's back nat fleet beacon for movie, carriers incoming movie with a base at 10 as well classic pushing
arbiter gets emp'd good push timing; movie's first 2 carriers just now arrived vultures pick off all of movie's high templar not a good job of spreading tanks but movie has nothing to punish him with classic steamrolling into movie's nat, look's like movie's gonna counter
the counter is unsuccessful and class pulls back a lot of his troops to snag some of the goons carriers are attacking but classic has goliaths out a shuttle drops 2 zealots at classic's random bottom left base and forces a lift still anyone's game at this point
I had Hyuk/Classic advancing, thinking Hyuk is usually pretty good vs P, but goddamn if he didn't throw games away. There's been so many upsets by unknowns this year; the only good thing is that everyone seems to be missing them on LB so I'm not falling too far. I did think Classic could beat Movie, despite Movie's improving PvT. I think Classic just isn't getting enough playtime right now.

They really need a good protoss so lets hope so. I dont think that's the case though as sHy lost to SaiR in the OSL prelim
Hyuk and Movie completely out of form :/ Movie still sucks in pvp... Classic is really good so he's no suprise but Shy is a total rookie... Someone's gonna get an easy first round and it won't be the Hwaseung protoss.
Movie isn't really out of form considering he was never that great. Even during his run to the finals of that starleague last year he never did anything that impressed me. Maybe I'm missing something, but he's always felt like a "meh" player.
Movie is the ultimate single starleague (non-champion) fluker (EVER 2009). Even Shine is at his ELO peak. Even type-b made some cash throwing games (though I hate him so). Movie, you so bad, make us sad.
