Gonna start the obvious ace match debate off and say Flash vs Snow, Snow's PvT is on the level of BeSt and Stork, true, but Flash can still beat those two on a good day. Sending someone like Stats as a sniper doesn't make sense.

In all honesty I still think Snow is the best ace choice hite has because Leta isn't all that good half the time and Snow is turning out to be a very good player and one that can develop into a good ace. It's too bad hite lost their ace, it makes them suck a lot in comparison. A good ace(Jaedong/Fantasy/Bisu/Zero/Flash etc level of skill) is worth 3 players in my opinion(game+ace game+more chance to win in both than anyone else).
how do you do this stuff in the lr thread (op)? i wanna make the lr thread for mbc vs kt but i dont know anything about the banner and the rec games section and all that

You need to get a banner from one of the banner makers (like how the OP has it from Mustaju). From there you can probably just copy and paste the current layout, and manually change all the maps and stuff.

usually ppl just quote off the existing LR threads and credit whoever they quoted it off from.
or you could make a brand new one..but might take some time...

well i'm a noob at it myself, I have mainly just reverse engineered other people's threads by looking at the tags [] they use, which can be done by 'quoting' their post. banners I've copied or in this case mustaju has made it especially

lol probe hides after horang takes out the eggs by his nat. That brobe is a baller. Probe sneaks back into horang's main, sees the obs tech, the gate count, and finally dies for the cause.

Violet attacking and destroying 1 cannon at 6 from the lowground.
Violet taking his right-side nat now.
Violet's shuttle coming in from the right, drops an ht, probes run from the storm though. Continues to drop the 2nd templar in the nat, great storm. Another storm at 6. Horang lost a ton of probes.

well, he had to do damage, otherwise he would've lost
Seriously though, what was snow thinking? flash was bound to see the proxy gate at that spot as soon as he walked out of his base, its almost like he wanted him to spot it.
Flash was simply all over the map. Amazing mines placement, constant harass... He made it look so easy while Snow is one of the top players in the proleague.

Ever since Snow beat Flash awhile ago people have kind of been touting it around how great Snow is and that his PvT is better than Flash's TvP -- I've definitely seen it here a lot. Flash didn't just set out to win your run of the mill PL game, he absolutely crushed someone who people said could beat him.

Back when he was playing SC1 he would do this silly gesture like pretending to slice a neck before a game or do some stupid ceremony when he won (I think he beat Effort when Effort was destroying everything some time ago), etc, and never really could back it up.

I think he's talking about the time where he reversed all killed some other team in the small team GSL invitational competition (I think it was Werra or Prime). Pretty much the single time he actually backed up his pregame and aftergame antics.

I remember the few games where Tempest DOMINATED in PvP with multiple 20+ probe-kill templars. Ever since he seems to be studdering a bit but SKYHIGH IS AWFUL AT P!! YEEEEEEEE
Skyhigh attacks, plants mines weakening Tempest's army and then the tanks move in. DTs go attack, without even going with the shuttle since theres no time.
I recommend watching Game 6 because Tempest cries. I don't even dislike him, but how do you get so emotional after trying that kind of cheesy all-in and failing? What did you expect?
Man, how can you have such terrible pvt when you have Flash as a practice partner? I guess Flash doesn't waste his time and finds some decent practice partners...

Tempest rams his shit in

No, not really. He got really unlucky because he attacked right as the SCVs were transferring, so they blocked the zealots from reaching the tanks. The second attack was stupid though...he should have expanded without losing the units and at least had a 5% chance to win.

This. That was, literally, the single worst attack in all the years I've seen in pro starcraft. Attack moving would have been more effective.
It was a horrible attack, but it was nothing compared to the Leta drop. THAT was probably the worst attack in pro starcraft.
That drop was more disastrous since it blew a huge advantage, but that was simply not scanning before going in and it makes sense how it would happen when you're on 6 bases and are trying to multitask all over the map. Here it looked like Tempest took two control groups and basically right clicked on the minimap straight into Skyhigh's wall.

Not only not scanning, but also hesitating and losing the dropships instead of either running away or just sacrificing them to make the drop work. Not a simple mistake by any means but a horrible career-defining blunder.

The funniest thing about that game is that Flash also does a drop into turrents at 39 minutes, only he does it the right way.
After last season KT fans overestimate the power of their favorite team. On paper KT is still very strong, but curent "best of seven matches" really weaken the potential. KT will have to really hard work if they really want to end as second or even get through play-offs. You must deal with that.

It's possible. Still i think that KT is really strong team, but right now it's not even close to that team we saw last season. They have additionally Action (his a bit overrated IMO) but the veterans (excluding Flash) are playing not-that-good. Its critical, when you have to win Bo7, that's why KT is so low in round one, in the rank much lower than its real potential.

They were somewhat well-rounded team last season when Violet and Forgg could win some games and Hoejja was still somewhat good. Moreover Stats was more reliable than he is now.
Now it is only Flash that can win games regularly.
I don't want to sound mean or ignorant but how is CJ well-rounded? Who are good Zergs at CJ? This is not the same CJ as it was with Effort and in shape Iris and Movie.
Actually KT did quite good getting a three win streak this round, then out of nowhere they decide to slump to no end.. It's painful as a fan, but we all know that KT has the potential if Violet can stop slumping, Stats and Forgg have a decent winrate, (50%~70%) Action is overrated, and we have MANTOSS!!!

They're well rounded in that they have several players who aren't at the top but are mostly all above average. Kind of like a poor man's STX when STX players weren't slumping in proleague last year.
They have Leta who's excellent, Skyhigh who's near invincible in TvT and at the very least solid in TvZ, Puma began to step up last season, Snow's shaping up to be a top tier Protoss, Horang2 has stepped up a lot, Movie's still good when he wants to be, Hydra's developed into a realyl solid zerg competant in all matchups, and Hogil can actually play on a good day, no idea what happened to him recently.
Holy cow, how is KT doing this bad. I mean, just last year, they beat SKT in a bo7 4-2, and they even added Action. At this rate, they might not even make playoffs...

Don't worry, we have two rounds of winner's league this season. If all else fails we can just fall back on the ol' child labor terran days

At this rate, you're definitely gonna have to. KT is losing to too many teams that shouldn't beat them. Except Flash will burn out from having to carry his team so much. Even ever-consistent Jaedong does, and Flash probably doesn't have nearly as much stamina. The fact that he'll have 2 rounds of that will make it even worse.
To be fair though, this is only one round of many. KT had a few bad games towards the end of last season (Flash and his ACE match losing streak) and still managed to win it.
While this round may be a write-off, I'm sure they'll rebound and start kicking ass like usual. (Even teams like ACE were getting manhandled for all last year and still had a few rounds where they were owning).
The day to panic for KT is the day Flash starts slumping hardcore, but in his current form he is still dismantling even the best "vT" snipers.
The only questionable call is why the coaches continue to use clearly sub-par players such as Hoejja and Suny. If ForGG had gone out today instead of Suny, there would have been a much greater chance of KT success based on ForGG's TvZ. Instead, they decided to send out the clearly weak Suny and then had no choice but to send out someone OTHER than ForGG, because obviously Entus would send out Skyhigh to clean up any TvT.
The thing most people don't realize about the thumbs down ceremony is that it's been a CJ trademark for the past 5 years, savior was the one who started it (mostly in photoshoots tho) and skyhigh was the one who continued the tradition when he was still a promising rookie, it's a CJ thing.
Even if now they're all happy and smiling it's because of the influence from the former hite players, they still are Entus.

This kinda bugged me, I mean Flash has predicted every cheese with 100% chance. Literally, he has scouted everytime... luck, skill... sence? Whatever it is, kinda feels silly to try it over and over. And what the heck is that proxy position, how could someone with Flash caliber not even see it?
Whole game against Snow was mindnumbling onesided. I really hoped Snow would made it intresting game and even worth while, afterall it was in "recommended" section. Somehow the stigma of new player showed there.
Just watched Flash vs Snow, and it was not what I expected, but I definitely agree with the recommendation. Flash somehow improved his TvP, by incorporating Boxer/Fantasy-esque drops in his game plan. At one point, you could just tell that Snow got completely dismantled and could not keep up with Flash's rhythm at all. Kind of felt like Bisu vs. Savior in their first encounter.
I predicted a KT win (Horang2 < Action, Skyhigh < Violet, Snow < Flash, Leta > Forgg, Hydra > Hoejja, Hogil < Stats), glad that Hite pulled through! Leta getting back on track and beating a quality opponent (i.e. not Modesty), Skyhigh winning vs. P... wow.
Even as a Snow fan, I had a feeling that there would be a rematch and that Flash would take it. From reading the LR, it sounds like it was more one-sided than I would have hoped. Sigh... proxy gate then proxy robo? Really? Come on. I might watch it just for the incredible multitasking by Flash I've been hearing about, but I'll probably cringe.
Glad Mafiazerg finally won though, and is coming out of his slump. Speaking of Modesty earlier, though, Hite needs to purchase him. Then, with Skyhigh and Horang2, we'll have the whole damn set.
Disappointed in Snow. His Winner's League cheese against Flash was much more solid, and only failed because Flash played perfectly. Here Flash played really well, but I feel Snow would have been better off with a macro game.

I have been skeptical that they could manage to see other's move with "totally internal reflection".
I hope someone from Korea could sit in those game cube and confirm whether there is reflection from glass that players could see the game play....
Think about it, how come snow would place a pylon so close to flash's base without scouting ... They must somehow know other player's base...

It's a 2 player map -_-. To look at something 10 meters across and see these phantom reflections off a small computer screen would be impossible, even if they are there. Hell, hold up a mirror in the booth and one would have to squint and take time to digest exactly what that tiny image is trying to say.
Flash scouts early and often, so it's not unthinkable that Flash sees it right off the bat. had the scv continued to snow's base, Flash would have seen something amiss anyway.

It looked like Snow had prepared an early rush. He let the gateway finish and Flash killed it, so he lost 150 really early. Not to mention the 100 minerals pylon and the loss of gas mining because of the late assimilator. Arguably Flash had an equal disadvantage because of pulling 4 SCVs.
In order to regain any kind of position in the game, Snow tried proxy reavers (a mineral heavy, gas light transition) while Flash could go dropships and fail because of his lead. It didn't feel much of a game once Flash scouted the robotics. And he let it live all game for the BM value. I'm sure deep down he still fears Snow
Actually there are no BM or fear. It is common practices in Go to skip unnecessary movements and concentrate on important ones. The building was formally dead why bother about it?
Benzene looks really annoying for harass, REALLY annoying. So no wonder he chose that strategy. Didn't think it was a particularly impressive game considering it was over from the beginning basically.

It wasn't dead. Snow was making observers and shuttles from it all game. At one point the observers points to the robotics and there were two observers and a shuttle there.

I also think killing the robotics would be unnecessary. If Flash brings enough firepower into Snow's territory to take down the robotics, then he might as well go a little bit more distance to try to take down an expansion.

GWAHAHAHAHAHA! That's the funniest thing I've ever heard. XD
Flash fears no one.
Coming from KT Fanboy #1
Come on, you can't be serious with that claim? Look at the ELO, then at the Kespa rank, then at Starleague winners/finalist the last year; for fuck's sake, Flash is over 80% vs Protoss since his reign as bonjwa began, and you think that he fears fucking Snow? We're talking about the most skilled player of all time in his statistically strongests MU (since his reign began in October last year).
Flash fears no one. And that statement has absolutely nothing to do with me being a KT/Flash fanboy, I'm sure a vast majority of all BW followers would agree about that.
