Umm it wasn't me that created the other thread. I was just the first to panic officially :o)
I was starting to fear that a thread wouldnt be created so thank you very much. Go go .....errrr SKT maybe..dont like any of the teams, just hope to watch some good games!
Lol, low level ZvZ is not the most interesting ever... Saint first attack seemed so random... Gogo BW Edit : low level is a bit excessive... Let's say not Jaedong's level^^
I can't recall seeing so little Muta micro like that.
Saint definitely appeared to get caught out by scourge in that second Muta battle. Maybe he was focusing on the Ling battle that was going on at the same time.
Saint threw the match away with mistakes. I can't understand why he didn't get his upgrade. It was obvious that the money he saves would not be enough to make him win the air battle after flying crossmap.

Hahaha, It's so amusing that I had just tuned in, only to be able to rightly guess that the swarms of lings belonged to Kwanro before even paying attention to what teams were playing.
Never, and I mean never, try to get away with one cannon. I've seen it fail so often it ain't funny. ESPECIALLY AGAINST KWANRO, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING JAEHOON?
man, Kwanro's all-in ling "sense" is out of this world. Using that single zergling to piack away at a cannon warping in to distract for the frontal assault. I really enjoy watching Kwanro pull a win from what I would deem a lost cause. (I suck at SC)
Was it that hard to guess that Kwanro was going to mass zerglings... It's hilarious everyone here could predict that Kwanro was gonna mass zerglings, but Jaehoon couldn't. And obviously Kwanro didn't disappoint :D

Not to bring you guys down but its Jaehoon. Its the guy who brought FBH down to his knees and then somehow lost in awesome fashion to like 4 vultures.
That was like the best game ever ! Though before that recall, FBH was in a pretty good position^^ But yeah, a toss that loses to FBH... Then again, Kwanro is a god compared to SKT's zergs

What a dumb game that was. I wanna see some epicness. Sea vs Bisu or something please.
My thoughts exactly. Kwanro always goes for lings, and Jaehoon always goes for epic fail...
Kwanro is soooo ... kwanro. I love that he has his trademark, sticks to it and is successful with it. So much fun to watch a guy play who doesnt stick to the usual macrostyle of todays progamers.

That match there was a little one-sided though.
If a team has to fight their way to some up-and-coming Zergs, plus some more experienced Zergs who can pull of all-kills in Winner's League, in order to even _get_ to SKT's strong players...

There is a good explanation for that. he is a complete and total idiot. Like flat out dumb. Like outright stupid. How in the world could someone who is somehow involved in the BW scene AND has an IQ over ~75 NOT build 2 effing cannons against effing Kwanro? Since Jaehoon is clearly at least somehow involved in the BW scene that obviously means he is a simpleton (with high APM).

Maybe he was just overthinking. I mean, Kwanro has to change strategies sometime, right? Right?

Don't get me wrong, I hope you're right! Call me a pessimist, but I think a lot hinges on Bisu's form, and while I'm a Bisu fan I'm not naive enough to think he's back to his best (yet).
Kwanro went for the all in because Jaehoon gave him the opportunity. Jaehoon is shit enough to let zerglings in because he can't forge expand right so obviously if the protoss isn't going to fix his forge expand, you may as well build zerglings and kill the idiot off.
Its nothing special, basically a bad player giving a decent one an obvious opportunity.

So I am. But this has nothing to do with my SKT icon... I've always found Kwanro ling all-ins hilarious even before he joined SKT ! And the fact that Jaehoon was clueless about Kwanro's strategy made it even funnier. skill =/= entertainment.
There are uber skilled boring games, while there are hilarious and entertaining shitty games. The skill displayed in the game is rather objective while the entertainement value is subjective
Fantasy looking to block Light in the bottom left corner. Light tries to break out at 4 o'clock with dropships and tanks, but Fantasy brings down reinforcements and shuts it down.

Light is everywhere and not letting fantasy expand. Snipes a dropship!!
Fantasy moving units to 7 while Light is reinforcing as well. Fantasy did get another base up at 8 looks like but it just got dropped. Great position by Light.
If Fantasy lets Light setup in this main it is going to be nearly impossible for him to win the game. He needs to do something now. Otherwise light will have like 70% of the map.
I thought fantasy was always advantageous. Light poked pretty well, but most of the time Fantasy had control of middle and Light's expos at 1/7 were (partially) surrounded by Fantasy's forces. Light initiated many times, but there were clear times when Fantasy could have pushed into Light's expos.
Also I think Light should have consistently tried to poke at Fantasy's 1 nat and 8 from his 'main' expos.
Dunno, good actions, but far from being a great game.
Well... I hope it's Sea vs Best and we clean sweep. That TvT was really really boring in the mid stages til light grabbed the end bases and transitioned to BC. Then the game got so interesting.
I'm so confused though, I was under the impression that Light was red during the entire game. Was so surprised when Fantasy went out and high-fived his teammates. XD
I thought it was a nice counter-attack from Fantasy when Light pushed up the right with his BCs. Fantasy threatened to walk into Light's main and then switched to take the 7 o'clock (from memory).
Omg, I would _not_ want to be in Sun's shoes, especially not if he loses this. When the coach can choose either one of the two best Protosses out there, but picks you instead, the pressure must be insanely high...

True that. It's not like that one time when Estro brought out a very young Action to snipe Bisu in an ace match...

Yep, this is about the lowest pressure situation you could hope to be in for your debut.
WTF is this han guy? Master of nonstandard PvP? Arbiters?
Sun probably behind, but he's holding on pretty well, going in for another big battle in the middle of the map. Looks like he's on the losing end again, but a strike force of lots take out hans expo at 12.
On October 18 2010 20:48 HopLight wrote: What the fuck has Best been doing on his vacation? 24/7 training? He is playing the best P I've ever seen.
He's playing like he normally does. Players right now seem a bit unstable with their play and the maps certainly favor Best's macro heavy style (massive wide maps).
Bad decision by Best to push the nat there, after killing the army in the middle he could've wiped at least 1 expo. He would have still been in rough shape but it wouldn't have been instant gg by pouring into his streaming reinforcements.
wow! that was an exciting game!! It is now 5am, and I need to wake up at like 7:30... Recommend for sure. Huge Push breaking and multitasking from Best and Sea respectively. It was kinda funny seeing Best being mineral capped and still trying to macro. Great stuff.
BeSt made a poor choice building so many zealots. Sea went mass vulture after his push got crushed (He probably should have waited for those vults to arrive before pushing). The vultures tore up those zealots like nothing in all the encounters.

nah, sea would still be mining from 12, by which he would already have remade his army. best's decision was to 1) kill the army 2) take over factory area 3) stop unit production 4) use his leftover resources to stage comeback.
sea already was taking in too much resources + good macro, so it didn't happen :p
No shame in losing to Sea. Was a good game all around, though would've been nice if Best used more than Zeal/Goon/Arbiter 90% of the time. Needs moar hero Reaver.... or storms.
Sad to see BeSt's streak end but it was a worthy game I guess.
Felt to me like Sea controlled the tempo of the game from the outset and was pretty much relentless when it came to his aggression. Really well played by Sea.
What the holy fucking hell was that? Both players played so ridiculously good! :O The push break was insane, and then Sea outmacroed Best. I'm speechless. What a game.
Best lost his million zeals to a huge minefield, was gg right there. He managed to defend really well and even counter but still not enough. Really good game.
Sea was riding on his early advantage to victory. That combined with solid play and constant harassment won him the game. Best didn't play poorly, if anything maybe it was his not S-class micro trying to save his 12-nex.

I am referring, of course, to the time he 4-pooled (and won) in an ace match after the opposing team fought very hard to get it to ace. This by itself doesn't warrant the description I used, but the ceremony Hyun did after he won does.

Sure hope Jaehoon starts performing or MBC could be worse off than OZ.
At this point, I'd rather one of the other scrubs play instead of Jaehoon. Random scrub would likely have built more than one cannon against Kwanro and/or have a ling-proof wall.
I hope Mumyung and Pusan can do what no MBC coaches have been able to do before and stop playing Jaehoon.
i like how bisu was so agressive with his zealots. He took that mineral only third so fast after a blind 12 nex so he had minerals to spare, so instead of trying to mass up a big ball straight away he just ahrassed with the zealots EVERYWHERE, doing great zealot splits when they go caught my mutas. and when he did come out he just had SO MUCH STUFF. epic macro from bisu and great corsair/storm micro. just wow
