Seems that all three of them played pretty sloppy and still pulled through (understandable for July though, if he's been playing lots of SC2 recently). Surprised that TG dropped a game.

dont say "korean b teamers" when talking bout a golden mouse winner, the first zerg to ever win a starleague and the first zerg with a golden mouse;-)
but yeah, youre right.

But july is on the b team. Like the other 2.

Tossgirl was recently moved back up to the A team.

Tossgirl was moved back to the bench, but hasn't played any games until now (besides All-Stars). It was likely because they had an empty spot and she brings in the fans.

July's harassment and micro was great during the early game, but his lategame multitasking and management/control was D level (no storm dodging lead to entire stacks of units getting wiped out for no reason), didn't move out his units together, etc. He only won game 2 because Legend couldn''t protect his base against the doom drop. July too accustomed to multi-group select from sc2 imo.

Bogus would be the closest thing to an A-teamer that STX brought, and he's not quite the world's best (or most veteran) player. This showmatch wasn't really about skill though.
I'm going to sleep, let me get some of that carpet.

PJ eliminated Savior in 2007 when Savior was still very good. He only lost to Stork in the finals. Mondragon took the 3rd place. If Korea had sent top100 players, they would have lost.

Even last year, Advokate took a game off JD HIMSELF in a straight up game. ( that biomech push was just epic ! )

In 2010 yes you are right. All the top foreigners have switched to SC2 :'(

savior was on his decline and maybe he was throwing the match???

but PJ was fucking HUMILIATED by stork in the finals.
it was a no contest.

jaedong's recent interview said it all.
i am not worried at all about the competition at WCG, i just hope i dont meet my fellow koreans before the finals. or something like that.

It was elimination stage of the tournament and Savior lost 2-0.

And at the time, Savior was considered hands down the number 1 ZvP player in the world.

Bear in mind that in official games in Korea, Savior was 22-8 in 2007 in ZvP, with 5 of those 8 losses to Bisu (the other 3 to Nal_ra who won with a cheese attack, Stork who went 1-2 vs Savior in GomTV MSL S3, and Free who went 1-3 vs Savior in GomTV MSL S3).

The Chinese players are very, very good.
Even though this Proleague bullshit has been completely bogus, I really, really, really do not see how Khan can lose this. I swear I will kill myself if they do. - nesix before KHAN lost to eNature

Do you actually follow the progaming scene ? Saying that Savior threw a game in 2007 and was on his decline shows you don't. Read the match fixing scandal history, and Savior's declarations to the court.

Yes Stork raped PJ in the finals, but that was not the point. I was replying to someone who said that Korean could send top100 players and still take the 3 first places ("take it down with ease").

Kurafi takes out Trap's nat with a good tank + mm push, then takes out Trap's reaver. Kurafi now has about a dozen mm and a tank, while Trap has 12 goons or so. Trap rebuilding his nat ASAP

EDIT: ok that's way more than a dozen goons

EDIT: its back! trap at top, kurafei at bottom, seems to me trap early aggression with zealots, kurafe pulled scvs to block, now mining out backdoor and letting vultures out

Are you using 64-bit IE or regular IE? It didn't work when I tried 64-bit IE.

I think NeoTV might be having bandwidth issues. Stream is lagging for me.
