Man, this series didn't dissapoint! I was really looking forward to it, no doubt both of them practiced pretty hard for their possible meeting in PL finals, then for WCG and MSL. It was bound to be epic...but who could know *how* epic!

I could only laugh at the TvT haters. "noo, TvT BO5 *cutwrist*", "please no TvT in semifinals blah blah"...all bullshit. No mirror matchup comes close to high level TvT. Boxer vs oov, Flash vs fantasy...was there even such epic PvP or ZvZ BO5? Bisu vs Stork probably comes close.

PvP and TvT are fine mirrors. The problem with mirrors is that when there's some in a tournament it means there's more likely to be more of the same mirror (Calm's MSL, Clubday, etc) so you get kind of bored of the same matchup everytime.

ZvZ sucks in every Best of series. Any lategame ZvZ is automatically awesome, though. Lurkers vs Lings is my favorite thing to watch.

It seems a little unfair though that Flash goes 5-2 and gains 8 ELO points from it. Guess that's what happens when you're that far ahead of everyone.

That's the point of ELO rating though, and what makes really high ELOs that much more impressive =)

Once the countdown is over, Flash is without a doubt the best player ever. Unfortunately, his mindgame could use improvement: Flash hasn't ridden a BO advantage to victory since Jaedong last MSL. When the FvJ finals come, the results will be in large part be decided in the mental battle before the games even start, and in planning this Bo5 I don't think Jaedong will make the same mistake twice.

Yes!!! Flash again in the finals. When I woke up I got this weird feeling that he lost but I am soooo glad that he managed to pull it out!

Flash too good

Wowwwwwwwwwwww...I was too scared to watch game 5 after Flash threw away game 4 so quickly. I only just dared to take a look at the result, and he somehow pulled it out <3 <3 <3

Easily the best series of the year so far.

Seems like I need to put aside 3 1/2 hours for it though. Well, I'll watch it in chunks then.

But after tonight, and reading the LR, it seems to me that fantasy is an S-Class player. I think being S-Class is a bit more than just skill; it's a mindset. It's the mindset that says that you're the best, and you're determined to prove it. S-Class means you don't lose (or at least, you significantly up your game) against rivals who've beaten you in the past. I loved when Flash took EffOrt into his MSL group, that's that kind of mindset. Even more so, I loved that EffOrt welcomed the challenge, and beat him again. Last year, Jaedong took EffOrt into his group and beat him, showed he was still the top zerg. But what I love about (T)Flash, (Z)Jaedong, (T)Fantasy and (Z)EffOrt, is that they always have that mindset that says; you're not going to take me without a fight. Good for fantasy to show that fight today.

I wanted a Fantasy v. Jaedong series, and I'm sad that fanta still hasn't won his starleague, but I think he will, some day.

It's still possible. When I started following BW again last year after a long layoff, Fantasy was playing arguably better than Flash at that point. He was coming off two straight OSL silvers and almost got a third except for getting a bad semifinal draw of Jaedong after beating him in the PL.

It was only the season after that that Flash went into his tear.

damn, really the new king of silver.

if just 3 games in his career had gone differently, he would have beaten all of taekbangleessang in Bo5s.
