You do realize that prior to last year, SKT hadn't won any team leagues since 2006, right? And even before that, winning the Triple Crown once hardly counts as "winning everything".

Losing the shuttles and their contents instantly took away any sort of map control Kal had and fantasy already having 3 fully functioning bases capitalized on that by starting his fourth and continued aggression via his usual vulture shenanigans. Having his economy harrassed and especially having his attempts at expanding shut down over and over, Kal saw no choice but to try to abuse fantasy's less than ideal tank position to try to bring down his lead and to gain an opportunity to double expand, and probably to harass/kill an expansion himself. He was actually pretty close for a while too, there were a few very promising zealotbombs/minedrags, but in the end his execution fell a little short with many of his zealots being late to the party or chasing vultures around. The fact that Kal didn't think he could wait for that arbiter that popped soon after his army was defeated shows how desperate he was to make a swing in the game happen, and also how promising an opening he thought fantasy's slightly awkward army positioning was. But it's because of Fantasy's play on the E-bay. Fantasy outsmarted Kal on that moment and it turned the tide. I don't think Kal was way ahead even after the harass like everyone is suggesting.. Fantasy had a sizeable ground army and his vultures took out as many probes as that reaver did. Also, remember Fantasy went early expo and had 2 base vs 1 base for a good 1-2 minutes before Kal got his 2nd up. Fantasy went econ build and defense and Kal went into Aggressive harass. Fantasy Defense > Kal Offense and Fantasy did everything perfectly on his counter attack. Just like soccer. If you're style is Coutner attack, you force your opponent into a mistake and capitalize. That's what Fanta did to win.

Hanbit dominated Proleague in 2004. (Casy, Zeus, Clon, Daezang) T1 dominated Proleague in 2005. (Boxer, Midas, iloveOOV, Kingdom) MBCGame dominated Proleague in 2006. (Pusan, July, Sea, Light) LecafOZ dominated Proleague in 2007 (AnyTime, Jaedong, ForGG) I'd say that's a pretty good balance of things. SKT did win last year, with their FantasyBisuBest combo, and they're still riding the momentum. But when SKT won Proleague back in 2005, their core players were totally different from their key players today. It's a very different team.

But Kal messed up on that attack. He should never have move the shuttle over the goliath and turret combo. After he did that there was no way the reavers were getting extracted out of that situation. And it wouldn't have mattered how much damage Kal did to Fantasy's economy before those reavers got killed. It looked worse because the only scarab that Kal got off was a dud.

I doubt modesty purposely allowed best to scout his fast lair. The real reason why I don't recommend it is because mutalisks shutdowned best's natural with zero effort. That pretty much sealed the game, but then modesty suicides all his hydralisks into cannon range. But it was still 3 base vs 1 base, so zerg is gonna win sooner or later.
