I tuned in only for the last part and the scourge control he exhibited left something to be desired. Most of the time the scourge just flew over marines and died, one almost hit a floating building before it got sniped.
He qualified at least, and I'm happy with that.

The only sloppy part was letting that vulture do so much damage, and pulling back ALL of his mutas to kill it. He could've gotten one injured muta to chase it as soon as he saw it leave the base.

Game 1 had kind of a scary moment when Ssak was attacking JD's base at 3.
Game 2, JD had complete vision of Ssak's base with the mutas. Its gotta be impossible to play against JD when he knows exactly what you have.

This is kinda funny, since the game that Killer won, he did the same kind of build. +1 mutas doing a lot of damage, except Killer expanded much earlier than JD did and could end it with a mass of lurkers, instead of the slow bleeding out by JD's mutas.

That isn't the point. It's just boring to watch and very ungraceful imho. A player of Jaedong's caliber should have other means to dissect much, much lesser players than brute force.

Yes, he does that in Bo5s, where you can take certain risks. But no zerg can make 3hatch before pool* into fast defilers his usual style and be successful with it, similar to how you can't go blind 14cc every game as a terran.

No, I am saying instead of going 2h muta like he used to go, he is almost exclusively going 3h muta. Terrans have become quite adaptive to defending 2h muta and the maps are designed in such a way where it is easier to defend (in contrast to 08-09 maps where you minerals lines were much more open).

hes most probably pissed that his mutas got pwned by scourge during sktt1 vs oz ytd and wants to show that his muta control is still beyond godlike( add in the fact that ssak comes from sktt1 and u have the tyrant utterly humiliating him to get his revenge)
