Who cares about infantry when there are a dozen tanks?

The two lurkers killing marines was good, but when you take the whole army into consideration calm lost his whole army, and those two lurkers counted for 90% of the things he killed.
So 2 lurks kill 20 marines = good
10 mutas 12 lurks 24 lings killing 30 marines = bad.

Just because Calm's mistakes were less obvious to viewers doesn't mean he played better. ZvT is a hard matchup but Calm doesn't seem to walk the fine line between having just enough units to hold 3 to 4 bases before Defilers -> explosion well at all.
He's really been exposed as a guy who has to win ZvTs by getting a big advantage early (or winning early outright with a clever build). And as we saw in this game, he will throw a ton of units at achieving this goal. His lategame ZvT has looked really, really mediocre for a top Zerg.

And they still have their MSL series to finish up

Gogogogo Pure, take this round robin further

Pure sending out a SECOND probe early? First one looks like it's going to gas steal.
Edit: no, he goes around the side and builds a pylon. Brilliant, Fantasy sees the 2nd probe and now won't think to look for a missing scout in his main!
|
Is Pure really doing an in base proxy? there's the pylon in the northwest of fantasy's base!
|
LOL gateways in the base?
