i have huge doubts that effort will make it out of the group, even considering how horrible firefist/piano are.

I know Effort has fallen , but he should still take this without much problems .

Firefist also got straight up destroyed by Jaedong in the MSL.. thus adding more proof to Effort's RL-caused slump (little jab at Jaedong focusing all his time on that ZvP and a little less on his ZvZ..)

Nice attack - did a lot of damage to the SCVs
but returning rines clean it up

He had shitty worker saturation due to damage from the sunken break and no chance of resaturating because lurkling takes so much resources and larva. Plus he was behind in tech, so Starport units would kill him eventually anyway.

Even though I'm a rabid KT fan, but Effort... I rather you win... What's been happening with you lately?

easy come easy go. a lot of sc players will break into the scene with some impressive victories, but few will be able to sustain those victories. that's what makes the great players great. unfortunately, effort seems to be unable to be consistently victorious. he had a longer run than most, but it was not meant to be. even if he somehow wins this match, i really don't see him making it past the next round.

Effort is going through a tough phase in a pro gamers life. It's come to the point where he has become a well known figure in his team where his known for taking down big name players and competing with them. His definitely got the skills to pay the bills but it's a period where he must overcome to become even stronger and solidify his position as player and if he does overcome it he will become more consistent. However we must watch on as this young zerg evolves into a greater monster like his predecessor.
