Game 1 is really good if you watch it not expecting Flash-vs-Jaedong level play. I was laughing pretty hard at the end of game 2... for all the wrong reasons. Game 3 was very cool... perhaps it went on too long. You should watch game 4. Again, it probably went on too long. Game 5 was incredible, if you're a fan of the winner. I found it difficult to watch game 6.
Stork vs Lomo is going to be awesome, I can't wait! Although... looking at the map order, Stork will 2-0 him probably. Unless Stork goes 12 nexus on fighting spirit and gets BBS'd, that is

Super-nice, Lomo attacks the front of Hogil's defence, forcing him to pull all his units there and uses the commotion to unload 3 dropships worth of MnM in his main.
Strong TvZ showing from lomo today, he had his hotkeys messed up in the midgame but he macrod well and expod a lot, decent play from lomo, horrible follow up from hogil

Hogil was holding really good those last 10 minutes. I think he's the better player here, he should have won if he didn't do for guards which rarely work these days :/
Hogil played pretty bad, and guardians made it worse. I thought Lomo was going to fail terribly after losing those tanks to mutas, but those drops were great. And he made tanks -- useful talent vs ultras.

Yeah he had a real nice game plan, probably would have won if he had kept all his guards back at home instead of making some at Lomos nat.
lomo with his spidersenses on scans in the back of his push, right where the lurkers were preparing for the backstab, which then ofc fails horribly. lomo trying to move in, but backs off for the moment.

Come on Lomo, should've dropped in Hogil's fourth, not in the main, losing everything. Although, he killed a decent amount of drones so it's OK I guess.
It's not that bad, lomo is macro'ing very well even when he was aggressive, hogil managed to grab expos and fend off all the drops even with all that pressure.
With such ridiculous map control as he had for a while, Lomo should've done the Flash thingy vs Turtle Zerg a lot earlier (conserve the army and just prevent Zerg from taking any base beyond the 4 that he has, take the other main really fast and start massing tanks and shit).

Hogil's defence and harassing was rather decent but he got a bit sloppy towards the end with not using dark swarm enough/properly, but I think it was because he knew he was going to win lol.
I think a lot of viewers are too obsessed with micro in big army clashes. Hogil's drops were so vital to hurting lomo and keeping his own expos safe that sloppy defiler play didn't affect the overall picture.
That game had constant fighting, good macro and funny moments like a defiler blocking the ultra from going up a ramp, don't see why it wasn't at least an okay game to watch.
Lomo with 3 dropships, so basically hes running off of 1 vessel. he's choosing the wrong place to drop, many scourge, THAT DONT NOTICE. lol hj hogil, had the scourge didnt use them
Lomo's lategame is horrible and his dropship play when he saw the scourge was awful too, atleast try to get some d-matrix if your game is centered around dship play. Once he got 5 cc both games he just fell apart. He needs serious work on his multitask/macro. Hogil's drop play was cute too, ZvT drops are really cost effective late game with ultras

god stork playing well in early game, blocking that ling from being glitched in for quite some time then saving the probe. Hogil on the other hand suicides his 2 lings in storks base to cannons.

Hydralurk just isn't great against the dragoon/reaver combo. Stork had something like four or five reavers so they just tore through the hydralisks and he had enough dragoons to act as a shield to the reavers.

I think toss players don't try hard enough zergs are usually the ones doing the proactive HT sniping. Although it's a gamble for them to invest heavily into their midgame muta control, it's a gamble that very often pays off.

Hogil's tech pattern was 4th hatch/Den before Lair. He was counting on hydras for defense and hence the incredibly late spire timing.
Shows you just how amazing Stork is at adapting to in-game situations.

Hogil played pretty well imo, showing great map awareness and generally good management shutting down all of Storks drop harassment beside that first ninja 2zeal\1goon drop. He also came really close to breaking Storks 3rd if it had not been for that sick scarab taking out like 10~ hydras in one shot despite that they were not really clumped. After that it became really hard once Stork got his perfectly mixed army for fighting hydra\lurk and Hogil had not yet hive tech. Not to mention Stork had impeccable control of his army.
