If you fail to show up on time, your opponent will be getting a bye. For some of you who can't make it on time, and had no way of resolving the issue (like playing the BO1 today), you will be sent to loser's bracket. If you continued not to show up when 3-man round robins start, I'll declare a forfeit and award the point to your opponent. Remember, I'll allow a half hour grace period.

Can we make the stuff from the Friday group from a couple weeks ago be played on Friday instead of Thursday? I figured that was the point when we filled out availability to play.

Nope, it's 12 people from here PLUS 4 ORIGINAL FIRST SEEDS of the tourney which is only exclusive for this first NSL which are the 3 organizers and head of this tourney (me, o-ops, and wishbones) PLUS a secret special guest as a fourth seed!

That's his choice if he wants to play on the deadline (thursday in your case). We'll give him a half-hour grace period on that day, and if he doesn't show up you get a bye.

Ok cool, that is fine. If you are the winner, please tell us the results of your matches and also send reps to the e-mail listed in OP (or PM O_ops).
Anyone may free feel to start your matches early for BOTH THURSDAY AND FRIDAY as long as the results and reps are there. Just give your opponent a PM or IM or something to do matches early if you feel free to do so.
Final note is that O_ops would most likely be in today overseeing the matches while I would most likely do tomorrow or not. I am currently at school and have few things to do and won't be back till later tonight nor be checking here for a while, so in case O_ops doesn't show up, don't be discouraged and wait and see what happens. If your opponent don't happen to show up during when it actually starts (and you didn't make arrangements before), give them a PM or something. 30 minute grace period at most and also to remember if you played earlier thru prior arrangements, YOU DO NOT NEED TO SHOW UP IF YOU ARE DONE.

Meh i sent a PM to one of my possible opponents, he seems to have no idea whats going on so i guess i'm not continuing in this tournament.
Just like to throw my 2c and say that if you're going to try and organise something like this again, get everything worked out and in place before you start, because its pretty clear the format that is being used hasn't really worked.

So I suppose OSL is a fail then? Which explains just how small Movie vs Flash was on last OSL seeing how 20,000 ppl audience was bad, and explains how OSL has only been around for 10 years using pretty much the same formula. I suppose OSL format is such fail that it has have Korean Airline as its sponsor this time.
Besides, it's not my fault that we waited a whole hour grace period just for you and other seeded ppl. It's such a shame that you never showed up today for Ro36 when we waited one whole hour. Guess 60 minutes wasn't good enough...

I'm not QQing about the format, i'm qqing about the lack of organisation. Having seeds playing a match when its not clear if or when the previous match is being played is ridiculous. A smart organiser would have had the first round of matches (the non-seeds) playing first, and then the seeds vs them at a different time. I dont get why you volunteer to organise a tournament like this, then just leave all that shit to chance. I would have loved to have played, its just i had noone to play against. I refuse to sit around for an hour on the off chance you'll give me a "second chance ffa" or something stupid like that. i could be sleep, or washing up, or picking my ear...

Ok, I checked and you're on the Thursdays group. That falls under O_ops rule but basically in your case, according to what I heard, you're the only one who showed up yesterday for your group? Which means the other 2 players didn't come in... I believe there was a 30 min - 1 hour grace period and it was also possible to play anytime before as long as the reps were out. But basically what happened was that you don't even know if they played or not, and both are MIA which means they have either forgotten about the tourney, stopped caring about it or something. Thus, you automatically advance for Ro16 b/c neither of them neglected to post results or reps and I think neither of them even care. So congrats!

Ask everyone else who actually bothered to come at the right time today on Friday's Group. I had no complaints or any conflicts with the format. You do realize it's only you and all the others who never even care nor bother playing in this tourney who are the ones QQing? Here's a fact: THERE WAS SOMEONE IN YOUR GROUP AND HE SO HAPPENED GET DOUBLE W.O. IN THAT GROUP B/C NEITHER YOU OR HIS INITIAL OPPONENT SHOWED UP. SO GOOD JOB FOR EVEN NOT BOTHERING TO DEDICATE 1 HOUR TO THIS TOURNEY.

My dealie is this, I unfortunately had to work last Thursday (when it was originally scheduled) and yesterday, so I didn't make either time. However, before last Thursday's match I posted in the thread that I could not make it and asked the people in my group to contact me and tell me who won so that we could reschedule. They responded to this and said they would. Then the match was delayed a week, so it was to be played yesterday. I posted again reminding them to PM me once they finished, but as of yet I have not received a PM from either of them. Also, I've been on BNet off and on for the last 5 hours but haven't been whispered or contacted by either. So, guys, if you see this, respond asap.

K, i updated all the results that i can for the moment.
Quick rundown: It turned out that the wildcard wasn't needed for Friday. Group 6 did finished their games and mailed it to me. For the love of God, next time plz post your results on here so i know when to check my mail.

what results do you still need. honestly its way to far past. ive been done for two weeks. This is getting ridiculous. two week wait time between each rounds. if they didnt play their games fuck em. no need to wait a full week AFTER it was pushed back already again.
