It's not always a matter of race matchup. If Idra can get past Sangho, he's my choice for that group. I'm pretty confident that he would beat Boxer in a straight up TvT.

(P)SangHo has some pretty good PvT... look at his games. He only loses to very good players... and (T)SaiR

If Idra can win, I will be very impressed and happy

I was browsing through the posts but didnt see anything about this.

What exaxctly is the format? Is it BO3 Single Elim? Do you play everyone in your group once?

If IdrA has to beat Sangho in a BO3 he is going to have his work cut out for him. But if he can get to play some of the weaker members of his group I think he'd be in good shape.

I was writing the exact same thing as Husky did and then accidently hit refresh just to see his text popup. Scary.

On a related note, why don't we have a progaming FAQ or something that? I think one was in the process of being made at one point but I never anything of it?
EDIT: It appears that we do. That was rather awkward.

edited pic from progaming faq to current format. (rough edit :D)

guys who go 0-2 @ RO32 drops to offline groups.

Offline is BO3

RO8 is when brackets change to

1 vs 8
4 vs 5
3 vs 6
2 vs 7

according to KeSPA rank.

It is Bo3 single elim. I don't think that's in the pic above.

I'm hoping Idra can take a win, but I think his opponents might be too hard. He did only lose 1-2 to Shuttle so I think hes got a chance. Hopefully he can take out Sangho, if that happens I think hes the favorite in the group.

Ahahaha

Paralyze has tough groups in both OSL/MSL. Bleh. But Mind seems to have a better chance in his group, though s2 shows up again and Hoejja still looms as a threat.

Just take one look at Sangho's stats and compare them to IdrA's. I can see IdrA maybe beating Sangho on FS, maybe, and that's a HUGE maybe. If IdrA takes a game off Sangho, that will be an upset in and of itself, let alone if he takes the series. I hope he proves me wrong though, we need to get him into televised games soon, show off those Gosu American skills that people hate on all the time.

I never put him as a favourite over Sangho. I was discussing his chances vs. Boxer if that somehow happens and those chances are definitely not deserving of a emoticon.

If Idra prepares for the inevitable 12nex and/or dt drop from sangho he has a pretty good shot, hes taken games off trap and shuttle and had close games vs stork, so he certainly can win. People are underrating boxer as well, but whats with people picking horang2 to win the group when frozean and soulkey are also in the group, snow is no joke either. Tough group, but Im certainly not picking horang2 when his first opponent is a zerg.
