Flash had like 9 turrets at the top of his main due to the 2 hatch muta threat early on.

Its still no problem to unload a lot of units if you bring 6-7 lords of cracklings with a few ultras or defilers for support, and once he had cleared it he could probably have kept on dropping there. He probably even could have made a big drop on 5 to try to take it out as Flash main MnM/vessel force usually roamed the left side of the map. Anything is better than getting irradiate, suicide half his army on tanks, retreat and repeat until your broke.


I don't disagree with you that he should've used those drops more but I simply think the main was too heavily fortified with those turrets and the various marines for a drop to be successful.

It was less fortified than the 2 chokepoints covered by 10+ tanks and MnM each that he kept on suiciding into.

As for those saying he would spot it, Calm could have easily protected his drop by moving what was left of his ground army towards 9 when he was about to drop, since there was no way Flashs MnM force could stop that large ultra\ling army without the tank support.

I think what he wants to accomplish with 2 hatch opening is actually getting a early 3rd up. Flash would probably deny a 3rd Gas with a 3 hatch opening.
