Wtf was that, it's not PL Flash isn't going to just 2 armory every game.. it's his first TvP Bo5 since vs Backho in GSL1. Really have no idea what to say if BeSt's whole game plan vs Flash is "I'll try to sneak an expo and outmacro him"... when Stork did it it fit the map and Stork had applied early pressure.. BeSt was just praying Flash didn't do ANYTHING. -_-. Well like Ver said Best's build was really smart and probably a sure win against standard Flash play. Maybe Best thought Flash would play totally standard since he didn't have that much time to prepare? Best's strat is so good against normal Flash because he can take his fake 3rd at fairly normal timing and his 4th is already so secure. It can be hard to tell P ninja'd an expo because they could have spent their money on so many things in base. But, since Flash pushed - once no DTs came to defend and Reavers were sooooo late and Best's natural was also clearly very late (just by checking the minerals), Flash probably got wind that something was up. If Flash played standard Best could even fake an empty Shuttle (because Flash's turret defense is going to be perfect anyway) to make the timings seem more regular and maybe make it look like he's going super fast Arbiters.

I miss the days were people gave a LR that was to be read not kona style posting =( One comment I'd have for this, which is also something I've been debating. It might amke more sense to have a separate actual "Live Report Thread", becuase people tend to use these to just discuss the matches as a whole and as a community, thus for those involved, it's a lot more fun, but it's not very informative for those trying to read it. So basically, you'd have this post, then you'd have a link on the front page to a "Live Report Post", where people would just post pure facts rather than speculation or anything. That would clean it up, while also keeping the charm and environment that make these games fun to watch together as a community. I'll try and experiment with this next time I make one of these.

He transfered probes to his nat when he saw Flash's units. If he would have wanted to give up the nat, he wouldnt have tried defending on the low ground.

Don't. It just unnecessarily clutters the forums and makes finding specific threads more difficult.

Seriously, once you double nexus like that your not gonna be able to defend. Even if you cut probes your gateways will not be up in time to help. What Best did was a crazy greedy build, that suffers vs any kind of early aggression like that.

I think he was trying to reduce Flash's army size (and it worked actually). Otherwise he'd risk losing his main or getting contained.

Being super excited is one thing but spaming single phrases that make no coherant sense is just fucking stupid. I think the excitement is the real reason to read. ( and save time) but at a certain point I'm not 12 and this isn't gosugamers and shitty posting gets old =(

When his obs got in i think he expect flash to do what he always do what best's build was designed against for. 2 fact ebay/armory acad and then take his third. He probably expected flash to be passive. Maybe his lack of agression with his goons tipped flash off that he didnt have a lot of goons which made flash try to do a delayed 2 fact attack.

However, if you made it into like, say a blog post that was linked to through the main page of this, that way people wouldn't view it as cluttered, and thus everything would be linked through the main post which would make finding it easy. I've seen quite a few people lately complaining that these "LR Threads" aren't really... LR-ish, which I'd agree with. It's a possible solution if that's something people would like.

Maybe I'm fat-fingering the calculator buttons, it's happened before... Before tonight: 232-101 (69.67%) After tonight: 233-101 (69.76%) With a 3-0 against Calm: 236-101 (70.03%)

It's called a gameday thread on other forums and is really just people posting thoughts on whatever's going on. Quality isn't expected.
