Put someone like JD in that situation, with that advantage, and that game is over 10min+ faster. Losing to Hyun is never, EVER, a good thing. Flash is still by far the best TvZ in the world, and the series v Zero and JD will be awesome, but losing to Hyun is not a good thing... ever.

hyun is not as bad as you guys think. and someone has to end the winstreak, it was amazing it went as long as it did (considering the strength of Z players currently)
It doesn't make flash more likely to beat JD, but it certainly doesn't mean a whole lot that he dropped a game. It does ease flash fan's nerve's though, because flash has a tendency to put together these huge winstreaks, then falling apart in the SLs. Its better he break it now, so hes not worried about it vs JD (he even said in an interview that he was getting really worried about his winstreaks, and was afraid they would break at a horrible time)

What was Flash's official TvZ streak before he lost?

12.
It's all cool though, let Oov has his dumb TvZ 18 win streak, Flash has the new best matchup!

Don't worry; Flash will set a new streak record as he breezes through all the zergs in MSL and OSL.

Yep, 2-0 vs JD, then 2-0 vs Zero sets him right back on track, a couple of 3-0 here and 3-0 there later and he's golden.

Yeah, Flash is going to have nothing but TvZs through both tournaments, resulting in an amazing 8-0 OSL and 11-0 MSL, breaking Oov's streak by 1!
That'll be the day.

Better he break his streak here and not have to worry about it the psychological effect of it being broken mid-series. Zero frinstance would clearly have gotten a huge psychological boost by breaking Flash's streak

hyun of all people!?!
and of course, FvT.

Flash always goes into OSL/MSL with huge winning streaks and then drops his matches because of overconfidence/stupid building placement/bad builds/choking whatever.. now he's humble and playing great Starcraft and aware that he's occasionally making mistakes like in his game v Hyun... I mean what else can you ask for?

O wow, Hyun is on a 4 game win streak, while his win streak might be as long as Stork, JD, or Flash... but his streak is choke full of amazing and not just of a bunch of average to above average players.
MBC: the invisible heroes.

Flash always goes on hot streaks...and weather he admits it or not, gets arrogant and use to winning. Whenever someones streak ends, I'd assume it hurts them to a degree. Flash' streaks always seemed to end when he hit a good player and lost a game in b01. The most anyone is saying, is that if Flash is going to lose any degree of confidence [who knows, he may be beyond that, as any true champion should be at this point in their career], it will have rebounded by the time he goes further into SL.

I'm pretty sure that lyhb is just mad because Flash fans ('flashtards' as he so eloquently calls them) aren't crying and wailing and committing suicide because Flash lost a game. What's wrong, you were looking forward to tasting tears that never came? You seem pretty upset about it, it's actually kind of cute.

Nah man, he's enjoying the taste of all the sweat you guys are burning trying to defend Flash's loss. It seems you've done at least 2 of the 4 things you say he didn't make you do just now. Wail and release salty water from your body.
Also, watch out for Hyun. His last 4 games were wins over Calm, Stork and Flash. Too gosu.

Not at all, I went to bed with a relaxed smile on my face after last night's games. The only people I see sweating and wailing are Flash anti-fans coming in here and screaming "COME ON YOU GUYS WHY AREN'T YOU MAD? FLASH LOST AREN'T YOU GONNA CRY ABOUT IT? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET ANGRY"
Sorry, no can do. I'm more optimistic than ever.

Flash loses unexpectedly :l

It is true that some Flash fans have been saying some silly things. Claiming that jaedong only has a 15% chance in their series is more than a tad ridiculous.
I was/am worried for Flash in his upcoming individual league series. He's facing the imo #1 and #3 ZvT after not being seriously challenged for months. A little dose of reality is helpful, especially followed immediately with a convincing victory.
