They played him on a map which they thought would have a toss last match, but it didn't work out.
Flash has said he's looking to play more TvP

Violet saying he wants to try aiming for the "most proleague wins" title, but not now because he's currently still way below Flash in terms of skills

I think he underestimated Hyun. And it's not so much about arrogance, more like a loss of concentration because he's been playing zergs WAY too much.

It seemed like he underestimated Hyun. No
Why is this so hard to understand?
Hyun just outplayed Flash
Even flash just said that during the mini interview

Or... he made a mistake and Hyun exploited it...?
I dunno what's so hard to understand about this...

I honestly think he sort of might of just a tiny little bit underestimated Hyun, given that he rolled him in R1 and Match Point is really good for TvZ (though Hyun did a great job turning it into a good map for ZvT with his ninja sunkened up 4th)

its over so let move on ;0

No excuses for Flash, he lost and he'll learn from it and turn his TvZ into something even more beastly.
Frankly I'm happy something like this happened now and not in his OSL/MSL matches against JD/ZerO

Yep, that's how I feel. I don't think Hyun exposed any real flaw in Flash's TvZ (his mistake was very avoidable) and it can only serve to get him to refocus. I'm definitely expecting Flash to beat Zero ... with JD it's always a tossup.

The fact of the matter is that Hyun won due to his early game Muta play. I don't say that to take anything away from him... he played really well and Flash screwed up.

Always so much discussion when Flash loses "A" game ^^ GO FLASH YOU ARE SO AWESOME
|
i don't understand how people tend to forget that every winning streak has to end someday. and when it happens, they blame the supposedly better player for screwing up, being unconcentrated, underestimating the opponent or map imbalance, gay cheesing by the opponent..... t.t
in the pro gaming world, a winning rate of 66% is outstanding. thats means, 6 to 7 out of 10 games will be won. so if flash is on a 12+ game winning streak he plays way better than normal. and when the streak ends, it's not because hyun sucks and is a noob who wastes lings and flash was too cocky and the weather was bad and his cereals tasted bad this morning and he was sick and had the flu, but that hyun was just better that game. like 3-4 out of 10 games the opponents are better than flash. seriously
|
That game vs hyun though impressed me so much, theres only 2 or 3 terrans that can be in that situation and stay alive for so long

Man, that's always such a concentration killer for me.

Relax guys, I figured it out. Flash read this guy's post on Page 5 about how Flash is getting help from the Illuminati to win in TvZ and TvT:

and decided that he had to throw at least one of his streaks today to avoid suspicion from genius detective 'ssj114'

Wow I pick up Hyun for my anti-team and he goes and ends Flash's TvZ streak...How does this happen?
