I'm very happy about KT's depth, I think that's part of the reason why you see Flash doing so well lately. He does not have to carry his team and as a result he is thriving. I have a feeling you wont see Flash playing in an ACE match very often while he is alive in OSL/MSL this season. It's almost to the point where KT can experiment with putting Flash 4th or not even playing him every game. SKT has done that with Bisu and it's working for him. Aside from his loss to Shine Bisu has been performing very well, just check who has #2 ELO currently. Further, SKT is in 2nd place 2 games behind KT. KT can afford to drop a game here or there to make sure Flash is well rested for when they need him during important series', during playoffs, etc.

flash's interview confirms what i had suspected: his win against Yarnc was far from a sure thing -- flash got no scouting of yellow's base, yellow got mutas super quick with no sunkens and only 4 zerglings, flash still hadnt finished his E-bay and had only 3 marines at home when 6 mutas popped -- and it was only his decisiveness in contrast to Yarnc's indecisiveness that won him that game. if yellow had committed to his aggressiveness even after the third hatch and had kept on the offensive, at worst i think it would have been a race to elimination. Yellow even might have had an advantage in this since he got flash to lift his barrakcs: if he had sent just a few more instead of wasting his larvae on zerglings, he might have been able to win.

Yellow did commit to his aggressiveness though.. that's why he lost. If he pulled back to defend he would have been behind but at least had a chance to keep the game going. By forcing "flash to lift his barracks" he let his natural die and lost the game.. if he pulled back and defended he wouldn't have been able to make Flash lift.. so, he can't be both "more aggressive" and also win the game..

nah the thing was he might have been aggressive with his mutas but not with his larvae management. utlimately he tried to do too many things: expand, attack, defend. if he had committed his larvae to mutas he would have had more of a chance than trying to defend with lings/sunkens

yeah its really hard to play blind, but yellow was just lucky in the first place denying that scv to scout him... survived at 5! Still, I bet he scanned and count the drones, if you do that you can tell if there are masslings aswell.
