So will Stork grab the gold, or will he choke as he always does in a final and grab yet another silver?
Whichever way, I think that he will earn enough prize money to pay for those gifts (pandabears!) that he bought at least.
By the way, how much prize money is involved in this anyway?
Also, don't be too hard on Koll. This kid got next to no experience with broadcasted matches. His first exposure here involved tens of thousands of live audience and he is playing against somebody that he knows that he got no shot at beating. It is common knowledge that most players are unable to bring out their 100% in front of a camera, and Koll suffered the worst end of the short stick.
If he enters a Korean team right now, he will probably be able to make a splash in the future. Let's wish him the best.

Although I'm looking forward to the JD vs Stork final (go JD) does anyone know what's up with Happy vs Lyn? It was supposed to be on about an hour ago but no dice on the stream, CS 3rd place match instead.

I think it's about 15k USD for 1st. It used to be 20/25 but Samsung cut back this year.

You're right about 1st Plexa. I think 2nd and 3rd are 4 and 2 respectively. Which means JD and Stork are playing for a cool $6,000 USD in a few hours.
WC3 actually has 50% more prize money at 14, 6 and 3. I guess because it's in China who knows.

I think the reason for a low prize money in SC is that people had expected Korea to end up with 1st, 2nd and 3rd even before the games started.

Oh wow, that's lower than you would expect from an international tournament of such prestigious status.
So Koll gets nothing and Stork would just win just as much he did from IEF or TSL2 if he wins?
Oh well, the bragging right is still nice.
Stork, the first to have two WCG starcraft gold since BoxeR. GO GO GO

are there going to be working streams or should I just wait for vods?

overtime on first set for cs, if it ends up being another 4hr cs match.. lol ;x

intense game, idk if it's gg or not?
and what's "over time'?
|
Double overtime.... SC will be delayed a lot -_-

Another tie. They really need better tiebreakers...
I know. After the 2nd overtime they go to penalty shots. It's just a firing squad.

Since it's Bo30 rounds, if it goes 15-15, they play another 6 rounds, (with $10000 I think).
