I'll find some more info on the Korean BBQ to find a price range and also maybe book our dinner. If our date of the LAN does change, I'll be sure to PM everyone who cannot make this date (zalfor, eshlow, etc.)

It is just a few blocks away, 0.2 miles so easily walkable. The second nearest one is 0.9 miles away. This one is a Korean/Japanese Restaraunt with Korean BBQ. The online menu, unfortunately, does not list prices

Also, everyone think 1:30 PM a reasonable time? We can set it a little bit earlier if we need to as well if you guys want. Otherwise we'll most likely go until 11:00 PM - 12:00 PM.

Holy crap the photo of that place looks pimp. I'm coming... I'll probably get there at 1:00 pm because it makes more sense in my head. I'll also bring KonekoTyriin and maybe 1 other scrub if we can finagle him into coming.

EDIT: Btw it seems in the photo that we don't really get to see the PC... is it confirmed that we can use our own peripherals (mouse, keyboard)?

I think all PC Cafes and gaming centers will have their own mice and keyboards so you won't have to bring your own stuff. I find most people still do so anyways just so it's closer to their usual playing environment. So you won't have to, but bringing your own headphones / mouse / keyboard may make it easier to play on the computers

And yeah, I'm also considering just saying 1:00 PM so we have more time to eat and such, but we'll see

Sorry :/ We definitely considered it but most people seemed fine with the Seoul PC area. The X3O we were just unsatisfied with a $39 rate for 8 hours in comparison to $16 for 8 hours in Seoul PC. Do you live right next to X3O?

This weekend I will probably still contact both the restaurant and SeoulPC just to let them know we'll be coming in so they can prepare

We might as well make a reservation at the restaurant just in case it is crowded, but first I'll wait to see if anyone has any other suggestions and also if they'd rather just choose a restaurant on the day we get there. Good night everyone

Of course, I have my own camera here. It's pretty old but I've used it for all the LANs I've gone too and the quality is good enough even though it's old

Hopefully someone brings a videocamera so we can record some parts of the dinner and the gaming. We never got to record the Berkeley LANs and only the hosts did, and they compile the video into a big movie that they sell to their club or w/e

I might bring a camcorder with me. We'll see... It'd be pretty sweet if I did though because I could ezpz upload the vids to my youtube channel to share very easily with everyone here afterwards... HMM. This should be fun, I'm looking forward to it.

Seems like a lot of people who said they'd be willing to go to a LAN have forgot to check this thread. I will PM them if they don't respond by Sunday, just so everyone can see if they can make it

So any suggestions on anything? Anyone rather go to another restaurant to eat, or wants another start time? (12:00, 1:00, etc.)
