Jaedong is truly an awesome player. No denying it
His playing is just amazing in every way, and he really knows the game. I don't think anybody can come close to what Jaedong has at the moment.

Otherwise JD Fighting! I don't really think he's like Boxer, oov, or Savior.
I think of Jaedong more as a player like Nada. Perfect mechanics, works very hard, still modest, and a player that a lot of people fear because of his mechanics.
I don't think Jaedong will burn out until his age starts to restrict his physical condition. His strength is in his mechanics, and players with good mechanics typically stay in the top tier for a very long time (e.g. Nada who stayed in top 30 KeSPA for 7 years).

This OP is a really useful resource for anyone writing anything about JD...thank you!

"Physical" probably refers to hand speed/mechanics...overall APM and ability to utilize it.
I think Bisu and Jaedong are definitely at the top in that regard...Jaedong in a clear first, though.

Thanks for posting this. Jaedong rocks so hard that even his fellow progamers think so to awesome to see.

I like how Jaedong practices so much that he has to go and play every player from every other team as well.

Jaedong is NOT HUMAN!!?!?

Jaedong is the Overmind except he doesn't die.
Oh sorry sc2 spoilers above.

Bisu's not that bad, it's just that he isn't known for being nice and many of his comments could be taken as arrogant, but I don't think they are. I guess the best way to say it is that Bisu is not politically correct in his interviews. Though of course, PO=/=boring interviews.

Even Nada had a reign, and had an end. Yeah, he kept up as a top player [or topish] for a long period of time, with a few resurgences- but theres no denying that once he left bonjwa status, he was gone. Jaedong's been shown that he can burn out/have a confidence hit [i.e after he lost to fbh a while ago], and it effects his game. Eventually, the confidence hit will be big enough. I dont doubt he'll remain a top player until the end of sc1, and probably into sc2 [if he goes for it?], but its obviously GOING to happen.

I like Jaedong. He can do some crazy impossible stuff and make it look easy. It seems almost impossible seeing someone overtake him as top Zerg...

Every progamer on JD: "What a m'f'ckin pimp!"
Seriously though, cool thread, makes progamers people respect look as much the JD fanboy as half the folks on here (myself included ofc).

jaedong sounds like the perfect progamer from these comments. Hard-working, practices a lot, helps other people practice, is modest, and owns everyone

Wow, he definitely deserves the throne of zerg.... a true successor to savior

The Dong. Despite my eternal hatred of all things Zerg, he always gets my respect.
