Before the game started, he could see it. Then when the game started, he couldn't. So he requested for a pause, typing 'pp'. KeSPA stopped being a bitch and gave him a warning instead of a DQ for typing 'pp'.
i thought they changed the rules? why would it be a warning

He received a warning because Kespa is gay.
I actually think you receive a warning regardless of whether or not you deserve it when you pause. KeSPA is getting more headlines than the players. >.>

It was indeed a bad call by the ref. Neither player had even scouted each other (if I recall correctly) and a rematch could do no harm.
I'm still boggled why something as trivial as not restarting the game (and allowing the coach in the both) supersedes attention to the crap-judgement we say with the Leta and GoRush DQ's.
EDIT: I believe he received the warning due the fact that it is the player's responsibility to insure that their equipment and settings are working properly before the game is started.
anyone else noticing a huge rash of disciplinary-related incidents in one year alone? its like normal to hear of such things now in 2009 (why?) Strange..
