Last Update: September schedule added.Notes:Increasingly in IRC I've been getting requests/questions about which events I'll be going to. Therefore I decided to make a complete schedule of all matches I will be attending and keep it updated. It also offers the opportunity for people to request photos in advance (especially graphics/writers team for articles etc.) so please feel free to ask for whoever you like and I'll do my best on any given day to get a shoot with them. (Or to make cheerfuls for in-booth use or messages/gifts to be delivered to specific gamers/teams if desired.) Also if anyone particularly wants me to attend a certain proleague I will take it into consideration. I will not attend individual leagues (OSL/MSL/GOM TV.) until round of 4 (no exceptions.) I will however, attend all special events provided I am aware of them - such as MSL/OSL selection nights. **Note: I cannot shoot any Wednesday proleagues or events airing before 4:30pm on any day except Saturday/Sunday because I am at work then! Sorry guys.**Red square indicates I might not attend. Monthly Notes:The bulk of this month's events are being played whilst I'm otherwise occupied with my teaching job. TBH I'm not bothered because of all the elements of progaming - maps are my least favorite. I'll be covering the weekend events at OGN and possibly LOOX depending upon my work for Fomos and personal preference/finances. Roll on Proleague! Finally, a note on the Jaedong card - it is liable to be delivered earlier than the first week of Proleague if Hwaseung OZ attends any of the same events I'm covering so please keep an eye out for my posts about it.

Good to know, thanks nevergg.
I see a lot of T1 matches listed here...good choices, I hope you can get some more sweet special shoots!

I think a lot of people would appreciate if you shot at the CJ/SKT1 match on the 13th. I think there's going to be a lot of energy and heated feelings around those games.

Sorry - I should have added a note to say - I work full time as a teacher too so it's not possible for me to shoot any Wednesday proleagues. They're played at 1pm and I don't leave work until after 4pm.
@JWD - Yeah T1 are my favourite team to shoot currently. So any excuse to go to their matches is a good one!

I wondered if that game was earlier b/c I know you can't shoot 13:00 games. Oh well, thanks anyways.

They're two-five year olds so no - but in my old school I used to discuss SC with my twelve year old boys a lot. They were all Bisu fanatics.

You should just use something online like google calendar.

That's a really good idea actually - you mean copy/paste and then edit it using photoshop right? That would be so easy and look decent. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm going to do it when I get home.
@LonelyMargarita - as long as he's not used at the Ace and it isn't on a Wednesday I should be able to oblige on that!
|
Awesome, you are even a T1 fanatic too!
I will definitely request some photos of players if you have the opportunity. sKyHigH and Kwanro on the 10th would be amazing. As well as some pictures of HoeJJa on the KTF dates.
Thanks!

You should just be able to make it publicly viewable and just post a link.

Oh cool - I'll check that out. I'm not sure whether I just want to link it though. I'm probably going to post it like the weekly proleague schedules used to be done

i'm glad like one of ace's eleven games are at the loox centre, that place is so awful to look at.

Yeah - I hate it with a passion. Even the fomos/fifo photographers with their far superior cameras struggle to get good shots there. The lighting set up makes it a waste of time for me to even go. I'm glad they've come to OGN on days I've been working recently - getting to shoot Reach/YellOw was awesome.

Urgh, too puny and crammed.

Yeah - the right side of the stage is a pain in the arse to photograph as well because it's blocked by the right-side booth camera. It's basically a terrible layout and I refuse to go there. The press room is admittedly massive compared to that of OGN, but I don't use either recently so it doesn't really matter to me. I could rant on all day about the problems with the MBC studio.

I also don't really get the design, why cram all the small TVs and make a small choke? You can see that the front few rows are shorter than the back because of the walls and TV... bad designing.
I remember before the current design, the old one was the one with both players in the same room and two glass doors for each side. Was that in the same building?

No - the first one was at COEX mall in Samsung - it was absolutely tiny and suffered from it's own problems photography wise (basically those tiny corridored areas down each side between the glass fronted booth in which the players sat and the benches.) However, it was excellently lit and the seats were more comfortable (although there were only about 10 rows of them.)
The main problem with LOOX is those two collumns that hold the pointless mini tv screens - they block the view, block the right-side stage and make the whole place feel way more crowded than it should do. They also mean the seating arrangement is way too condensed.
In comparison Yongsan's OGN studio is big, well-lit and has a large amount of seats plus a wide area at the back which means the press can have their own cordoned off section that makes it so much easier to travel from one side to the other (I love working in there at every event.) Also it's in a much more central location with a big mall (LOOX mall is tiny and deserted.) so it's easy to go and get food/buy things between events. It makes the nine hour shifts I do on Sundays for Proleague and DF League much easier and more fun.
The only upside of LOOX is the training room locations (although you can't go in if you're a normal fan of course.) and the fact that the booths are not on a higher level stage (none of us journalists are allowed onto the stage - not even fomos/fifo etc.) However, the terrible lighting at LOOX means even getting so close to the booths does not provide good photos.

Ah yes, those two columns were the ones I were talking about.
I looked at the stadium and I went like, "how on earth can you find a seat with a good view for shots? =.=" "
Yongsan studio just gives off that air of grandeur.

both KTF showtimes would be sweet. need more Flash owning.

Well I don't sit down in the audience (I haven't done that since January.) but for the Korean fans it is a really bad place for photos. It's also a terrible location for fan meetings after the games because there is literally nowhere to sit. KTF took their Summer meetings down to a lovely little courtyard at the front of the mall though which was pretty good
@anch - Yes, I'm going to photograph them today. If they will I will ask for a shoot and photograph their fan meeting.

Whatever happened to getting shots of Nal_Ra and THE_MARINE!!!!!!! Make it happen!

Bumped for the large amount of events in the schedule this month and poll added.

why dont you ask for a little bit of donation to help cover your costs? You're probably not gonna get enough to cover the full $200 but at least like $50
And people will definately do it if you promise them good pictures of their favorite players lmao

That is definitely tempting at times - even normal proleague can cost me around $40 per day if I let it hahaha.

Well, I was gonna say that's crazy to spend $200 on something you won't profit from, but then again people often pay a lot more to do things just for fun, and this is more or less a once-in-a-life-time event, and since you said you'd feel like crap if you didn't go, I guess go ._.
