He tries really hard to look badass, but mistook his mother's too small shirt for his own.

No one would know only Taiwanese and not Mandarin, at that, the Chinese was obviously referring to nationality, are you trying to suggest that Canton and Taiwan are sovereign nations?

Plenty of people know only how to speak/understand Taiwanese and not Mandarin. They're just an older generation usually. Chill.

All the games i've watched of F91 so far he has lost.. i still gotta say the hosts and F91 himself are pretty damn entertaining though. I was cracking up before the stream buffered and again when one got the cigarette smacked out of his hands.

Now for someone to link the Jackie Chan blog.

Many people don't know Mandarin and know Taiwanese... speaking at least.

And yes, Taiwan is a sovereign nation. Can you tell I'm Taiwanese...?

Plenty of people know only how to speak/understand Taiwanese and not Mandarin. They're just an older generation usually. Chill.

Sure there may be a sizeable population of people in Taiwan who speak Taiwanese and not Mandarin, but this number is tiny relative to the number of people who speak both and who speak Mandarin. When someone says "this program is in Chinese" it's assumed it's Mandarin, because 99% of Chinese people speak Mandarin and not Taiwanese. He was responding to the one guy who assumed that "Chinese" meant "Taiwanese or Cantonese" which is a bad assumption. If the OP meant Taiwanese or Cantonese, it would say "Taiwanese version of Bnet attack". When someone says "Chinese version of X" and X is some sort of TV show, the language used is almost always Mandarin.

That's all he was saying. There's no need to get all defensive or up in arms about Taiwanese independence, nobody was even talking about that. Let's stay on topic and keep the political crap out of this thread. Thanks.

I hope you're not referring to me, as I knew full well that F91 spoke Mandarin. I was joking that for a split second the word Chinese gave me the feeling of familiarity in the midst of the Korean videos. I don't feel like my post assumed that Chinese auto -> Taiwanese or Cantonese (which is the strangest statement, I would not even think of that o_O).

EDIT: I can't believe that my one little post caused so much commotion. I apologize =/
Soli Deo gloria.

I just finished watching the first VOD where F91 played two games as TvZ on Sin Chupung Ryeung. He opened both games with an FE variant--first game was 15 CC, gas, acad., 3 rax; second game was gas, expo, fact.-> vultures with mines, then golis. In both games he got stomped by a fast hydra -> muta build that left him and the commentators a bit like wtf.

They watched the replay of the second game, where zerg went against T mech, and the build the zerg did looked something like: 12 hatch, 13 gas, lair, hydra den about 1/3 of way into lair, 6 hydras (NO UPGRADES), spire.

The games both played out like so: zerg puts on some pressure against the T before he has any real units with hydra, and then it feels like almost immediately follows-up with mutas, which can either be used separately (hydras go for expo, while mutas harass main) or together (as in first game where mutas buy time for hydras to walk up ramp and then muta-hydra together in main = gg). Or, as in the second game, the zerg bought time with the hydras until mutas came (there were about 9-11 mutas, I'm guessing) which were able to inhibit goliath and turret growth, and then the zerg transitioned into lurkers, which forced a gg because F91 as T had no acad./scanner and only like 3 goliaths.

Anybody want to comment on this build? The video is at: http://www.plu.cn/vod/esports/sc/allstarnight/2009-04-23/1026763.html (skip forward about halfway for beginning of first game).

As a Z player, I'm eager to try this on iCCup. Hydras are underrated vs. marine-medic, and even though the Z lost two hydras to a single mine in the second game, just four hydras harassing expo was difficult enough to get rid of for a mech T with only a few vults and waiting for golis to come out. The muta transition is perfect, especially if it catches the T off-guard, and the final lurker transition is icing on the cake. Obviously Z economy is going to suffer but with the amount of damage the build can do, even if the Z can't force a gg I'm sure it'll be about even. Thoughts from a T?

PLU has always been 10x more entertaining than PGL or whatever because the commentators aren't so serious about the game. They just end up making fun of the players and making jokes. They also did this with LoveTT first, so this series is pretty entertaining. Too bad they don't have the PLU leagues, afaik.

And I don't even understand why this is about language... It's pretty obvious that the "Chinese" in the title meant the country. As in this is like BNet Attack, but from China instead of Korea.

Yes... repeating this again... pink shirt guy is not f91.

But F91 has quite a sense of humour anyways.
