i don't know why people care about losing so much.. they like are so scared to lose or something... it's really stupid.. Who the fuck cares about a 10-0 record if you didn't learn anything? I'd rather have a 0-100 if I learned something about playing. And besides, you can just make a new account when you're Olympic rank and go nuts o_O you guys are all missing the point. this isnt about stats. and no one at the top of any form of competition is perfectly fine with losing. if you dont hate losing, you dont care enough about winning. Where are you infering that from? From the OP it's pretty ambiguous, so I'm not sure how we're missing the point.

When i was small, I had an account called loser(something) I would quit everytime before my opponent (when i know im winning), so my stats will look poor. Then in my profile I put "to lose is to learn"
Now of course I have been controlling myself more so it isnt needed...
I got really frustrated when ppl refuses to re-game. But you can always think of what you could have done better in game.

He quite clearly states he is D rank and a noob so he is obviously not expecting to have good stats. He also specifically asks for ways to deal with the anger/disappointment following a loss, and does not mention /clearstats like half the posts here.
edit:Certainly on iccup there is a greater tendency to care a LOT about record due to the ranking system, points, win/loss ratio etc, but even then I really don't think that's what this guy's concern is. He just doesn't like losing. Just like me! ( I care a LOT about rank/stats and your comment would have 100% applied if I created this thread, but I almost certainly would have bitched about massive win/loss streaks and their psychological effect on me, not just the general anger when I lose a game )
I think the best answers have been along the lines of using your anger as motivation.
Try to keep it a more WTFNOWAY NOW YOU DIE anger as opposed to FML anger.

Channel your rage into more APM.

I make a smurf account and intentionally get it to D-. Then play D players from there because people think you suck, so if you lose, who cares? and if you win, then they just lost more points than they would've.

I've really got the opposite problem - lose a few games, can't stand to end on a losing streak, play more games and lose doing shitty builds and not really trying T_T
Btw - the great thing about the iCCup system is that if you lose more than you win, you can still advance to A-. I always try to think stats don't matter, and try not to give up and reset. No one cares about your stats, you can't even see them in a game.
