HerO - 한동훈 Han Dong Hoon Team: WeMade FOX Age: 22 (Korean: 23) AKAs: HerO_V_ Nickname(s): Monkey Toss Career Record: 21-33 (38.89%)
WeMade has one less protoss to choose from, as HerO has announced his decision to retire. From what I gathered from the google translator he will be enlisting in the Army in May. So long HerO, you and your funny nickname will be missed.
I think he was pretty solid and had the chance to make the leap if he had just gotten a little better, he got out of pc bang many times but just didn't have what it takes to progress further.

Only 4 Protoss' on the entire team now, according to the TLPD and my counting skills. That's...not good for WeMade. I guess their only hope for a decent Protoss at this point is impending free agency or maybe some wonder-kid in the draft.

Are you seriously trying to talk shit on a progamer? At least he made it to TV, you bm sob.

See how easy that was? (to reverse your comment) I don't see how you aren't used to this, just check out what he said about Free.

you can't talk shit on a progamer unless you've made it onto TV?

at least that's 1.

you can't talk shit about a progamer simply for not being good enough when you are also a progamer and are worse.
I'll remember him best from seeing the horrified look on his face during Rock's karaoke section at Estars in Seoul - I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a We Made player before.

Wow shut the fuck up.
This is teamliquid, people critique progamers all the fucking time. Making fun of a pro-gamer's bad matchup is pretty much par for the course. How many times have you seen people say something like "wow savior sucks nowadays". I guess they should all shut up since none of them can beat sAviOr 1v1 they must lose all ability to talk about him negatively. What dumb fucking argument - so clearly Idra doesnt lose that ability just becuase he happens to be good at starcraft enough to go to Korea.

Agreed totally. Just because Idra is a terrible progamer doesn't mean he can't criticize other pros just like the rest of us.
I never liked HerO, but it's always sad to see a pro retire, especially without any big accomplishments Apparently Oz dropped a few of their lesser known gamers recently also T_T

Frank, look around the site. It's a bw fan site. People rip on progamers all the time. There are many instances of D- players blatantly accusing progamers of sucking bad. People constantly tell progamers to "just retire now" and the like whenever someone who's slumping a little.
Yet you personally attack one of the few people actually qualified to critisize a weak progamer. What makes your attack even more rediculous is that Idra's point is a very valid one. Clearly he was only effective pvt.
Do you notice the hypocrisy of saying "at least he made it to tv,bm sob"? Are you really that dense?
You're an idiot.
Edit: Haha didnt realize someone already ripped on him.
I think the reason he's disgusted with Idra is because, as a progamer, Idra should be best equipped to sympathize with HerO and understand the difficulties the man is going through. He probably also expected Idra to show a little more maturity in the face of a fate that he most likely will have to face in the future.
But as I've come to learn in life, having expectations is an exercise in disappointment. Especially when it comes to Idra .

? i was complimenting him 'his pvt was good' is implicit in my comment
fact: Idra has nothing but the utmost respect for users of the Protoss race. If you need proof of this behold as he actually takes the time out of his day to type gg to this particular warrior from the distant planet Aiur. Although due to his incredible apm a few extra key presses occurred

I'm going to remember him for a game he played with sea he went 14 nex, sea proxyed 2 raxes and the guy just smiled when the marines came. Most people would probably be pissed.
Request: Make TLPD recognize by.hero as Hero. Please please please please u.u;;

I just realized something... Next season requires each team to send out one player of each race. And the only semi-mediocre Protoss on WeMade(assuming Pure doesn't stop sucking) is TheRock... we might see quite a bit of him.
Damn, last season I really thought this guy could become a very good protoss. He was so unpredictable, he could win impossible weird games or lose stupid easy ones, and if only he could have been more regular at his good side, maybe... Shame.
i remember, when back in the day, Flash looked invincible but he beat him in a straight up game on Colosseum. Since than i always wanted him to succseed, but he just didnt
he has a series against i dont know who, a terran, when he played really good, but he lost 2-1 cuz he had some unbelievably unlucky scarabs and other shit

Lol, I thought it was pretty funny. It's not like Idra doesn't make known his love for Toss anyway. Personally I think it adds flavor when people are like, "this guy sucks". Without a little spice, it's just not as exciting to follow progaming.

Pure's not on their PL roster, only Rock and Hoony. I put Rock on my fantasy team. I believe.

Yeah this was one of my favourite games last year. At that time Flash was almost unbeatable in TvP, but Hero's strat was just great. I don't remember arbiters being used that way before that game. IMO it's not exaggerated to say HerO changed the way arbiter was used in modern PvT and it's probably what he'll be remembered for.

this~
plus does anyone know why his nickname came to be? just because it rock called him by the nickname?

it's kind of funny how you point out that instead of "talk shit" which is obviously completely illogical
