You have to remember - these live events are not just for the foreign audience (mainly comprised of men who are sometimes not interested in the Korean scene at all and who mostly won't be visiting Seoul for any live events.) There are lots of kids and younger people (see the photos of that little boy.) who go who love the new T1 image because it's bright and fun and a lot more accessible to them than serious hardcore gamer teams who just sit there looking bored (and trust me those exist in WL - it's not their fault, but why do you think I NEVER photograph Ace?) I think if nothing else Bunkie and the new T1 image should be praised for bringing some variety to live events and for showing creativity the SC Korean scene has been lacking in terms of lives since (almost) everyone stopped doing more elaborate ceremonies. SC in Korea shouldn't just be; come to the game, play, win/lose and then leave. It's about a whole experience that I think people should be able to come away from satisfied and happy (even if their team loses.)

It is the main reason for me being an SKT fan. They make the game look like a sport. In a sense, when people watch American Professional leagues, they have an emotional attachment to their team -- they grew up watching them and learned to associate their wins with a good day.

If it's the guy I'm pretty much convinced it is then they hired someone specific - he's an older man so he's definitely not a regular player.

Agreed, Bunkie is such a great character; he's always there to cheer people up, handing out free stuff, or performing wacky antics on camera. He is also the cutest mascot I have ever seen... ever.

No B-teamer could do what Bunkie does! Whoever is in that suit has spent at least a decade or two perfecting the art that is being a big goofy mascot.
