Thats what I call north american teamliquid view. I know both communitys european and north amercian and I tell its a long time ago since a north american has been the best foreigner. And no neither Idra, nor Nony or JF are the best foreigners atm. Mondi isnt too cause he is in bad shape atm (otherwise he would be the best of course). I think its Dreiven who is the best atm. But its hard to say I admit cause many MYM, a few ToT,Idra, JF and Nony are almost on the same level. | ||

Blizzard traditionally makes sketchy choices at best with regards to player selection...i mean...YELLOW? COME ON! I understand some players have leagues and playoffs to worry about and cant make it but sending washed up old school players who are applying for Airforce team in literally a week is ridiculous. Last year Skew got sent. I like Skew but there were a fair number of better players that could have been selected and i dont think it was the right choice. Its not about north america or europe. Blizzard is probably trying to give "everyone a chance" but there should be more critical or selective thinking with regards to player picks. "Blizzard, you have no idea what you're doing, so listen to me." Like G5 said, look at Nada's achievement list.... | ||

You would have made a better case listing Draco.. the guy that actually won the WCG that Dreiven attended and took 3rd in? The reason you didn't is because Draco is a confusing person that nobody can really tell in regard to how serious he is. Draco is the best European atm.. perhaps foreigner. Mondragon is a close second for european. Top foreigner is hard to tell. Credential wise JF has the best claim considering all players went balls out in TSL and he bested them all. NonY is in amazing shape but I'd still give the edge to JF as a more well rounded top player. To say that a NA player hasn't been considered the best in a long time is... short sighted imo.. very short sighted. If winning TSL doesn't make you a good bid for top non korean I don't know what does. | ||

Well we don't really need to elaborate on how bad Blizzard is at selecting players too far.. they picked a ukranian and then were like "oh hey, can you get into the states in a week and a half?" Who the FUCK does that? My mom could plan this event with more foresight. The replacement should be as following: 1. Nony (will already be in town for USA finals, cheap, top player people can be happy with, NOT A T [there are a million in this already].) 2. JF. Considered top non korean, wouldn't have a problem coming from Canada, not a T. 3. Mondragon, Draco, Dreiven.. all great choices. I'm a lil tired of Mondragon going to every WWI/Blizzcon but he is consistantly a great guy/great player. They could probably get in the USA on short notice.. 4. Yosh. I'm reaching here but he is an old school player FROM that region.. people would be excited to watch em, he's damn good and would be able to attend cheap in terms of airfare etc. | ||
