Kah v1.3 ANTIHACK MAPS
Zinosaur added a new public hack/plugin that gets passed IntrA v1.2 maps and iCCup Launcher... (August 16)
BUT..
iCafe.Moto, a household name in many countries, in cooperation with the savants at broodwarmaps.net, created new AH maps in less than 24 hours..
DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/?1rxphjlxfdb
NOTE: -Moto rushed to get the maps finished, so they might have errors.. He also used the iCCup Mappack which has mistakes in the maps (unless they corrected them). Please tell if you find something wrong. The maps have been tested and definitely will drop hackers who have hack turned on at start or if they turn it on later. If they turn it on later, they will drop with no dropscreen, if they have it on at start they will drop with a dropscreen. -iCCup Vampire is missing.. couldn't unprotect it. -Maphack drops when toggled or every 6/7 minutes depending on type of hack being used
Changes from IntrA v1.2 to Kah v1.3 -------------------------------------
-Deleted over 100 unused triggers + strings, making the map size 1 kb smaller, sup? -Changed few things around, nothing serious -Removed Warning Messages, and added ultrafast screencheck @ beginning of game.. -Used current iCCup Maps, not old wgtour maps
iCafe.Moto's msn if u want to talk to him is Spartan-119@hotmail.com

[B]Zinosaur:B] To iCafe.Moto, gg noob. It will only take a few seconds to update this hack if you ever do decide to update these maps of yours
blow-_-me
if smi.fucksteve closes this thread, im going to FUCKING shoot myself
edit: added FUCKING

I appreciate the hard work that goes into this, but I really wish they didn't treat all mac users as hackers

Thanks for the maps though, hope they work for a while.

Thanks for the effort but if you don't collaborate with iccup admins I doubt these maps will catch on outside of private games.

Thanks for pissing off Zynastor enough to make him release the ICCup hack, Moto. You're a real classy guy.

honestly, I know its icafe.moto, but hes trying to help the community
blame the hackers and the hackmakers, not the people trying to stop them
|
Moto was the reason people could play on other servers other than ICCup with the reassurance people didn't hack for a while. Moto didn't make Zynastor release an ICCup hack, he would have done it regardless.

blame the hackers and the hackmakers, not the people trying to stop them I would, except that Zynastor has had an ICCup hack for a long while and not released it. Why? Because he had no real reason to be mad at that community and doesn't see the point of interfering with competitive play outside of regular B.net. That is, until Moto came on his boards and started acting like a complete jackass retard (just like he acts here).

Um, basically the majority of public Play/Obs games were using Intra 1.2, they were fairly widespread and commonly used in public play/obs and private games. The iccup admins are aware of the potentially security flaw and will have fixed it on their own shortly.

Hey genius, did it ever occur to you that zinosaur would have released the iccup match without Moto's antihack work? Not to mention, Moto's work is the best in existance towards fighting hacks on battle.net without any special launcher. His maps are the most complete and secure of all anti-hack maps. Moto's maps don't effect iccup AT ALL, there is no reason to connect Moto with the iccup hack patch. You might as well go flame Flag for releasing the method of catching oblivion hackers looking for 0 suspicious actions, which of course was immediately patched by zinosaur.

Moto has looked into this.

I just used your Python map against a Zerg mineral hacker, but it didn't drop him. I don't know if he was also maphacking or not, but it didn't drop him. The game didn't last until 6/7 minutes, so maybe that's why?

Wait...so you're blaming somebody else for ticking off Saint Zynastor and forcing him to release his hacks? When the good-hearted soul would never ever have released it otherwise, because he really loves the community (except for B.net, because pubbies don't count). (Although one does wonder why he bothered writing a hack that he was not going to release.) Sounds messed up to me. The guy who releases the hack deserves 100% of the blame. Nobody else.

This makes me very sad Fuck apple itunes is more or less AOL now and their newest os you can't use on any computer only "mac supported" hardware in fact you can upgrade a mac and you could fuck up your comp if it's not mac compatible, hell although i rather just use masterofchaos plug in anyways.

Depending on the kind of hack, it could be possible that he used a hack which you turn on after the game starts, which yes should be dropped at like 6:48. It's possible to make this check come earlier and more often, but it clears all the text, which can be very annoying, so it comes ever 6:48 or something.
edit: Apparently these maps don't check for mineral hack since it's such an obvious hack -_- Moto says Master of Chaos's plugin detects mineral hack, and you should use that.

I'm sorry Tec27, but that's the worst fucking logic ever. Thanks for the good work, Moto. I hope Zynastor dickhead doesn't release an update soon.
|
Even if he does, the exceptionally adept iCafe.Moto will have an update on all maps in less than 24 hours, as always, with flame included with no additional charge!

On August 18 2008 11:48 ButtFace wrote: I'm sorry Tec27, but that's the worst fucking logic ever. Thanks for the good work, Moto. I hope Zynastor dickhead doesn't release an update soon. Yes, my logic is horrible. Lets take a walk down the history files here. In the past, Zynastor's position has been that he wouldn't even entertain the possibility of releasing a public ICCup hack (and you can see this if you go look at the many requests for it on the unnamed forum). Yet all of the sudden, thats mysteriously changed. And directly before that change, some guy named Moto pranced over to said forum and acted like a completely arrogant asshat. And to add further evidence, the ICCup hack and the Moto maps hack fix are in the *same* hack, and said hack is completely seperate from Oblivion. The hack also only contains those two features.
Here's a metaphor that may help to understand why I blame Moto: Let's say you're walking down the street and some guy rushes out of the shadows and begins mugging you at gunpoint. He considers killing you and could easily do so, but then decides he has no good reasons to do so, and instead decides merely to take your things and go along his way. But just then, you begin berating him and insulting him, causing him to become angry. So he shoots you. Whose fault is it that you got shot? The mugger had the gun, but he wasn't going to use it for that purpose until you made him angry. So had you just let him be, you would have been completely unharmed other than the harm which was unavoidable.
The other SC programmers (if Moto can even be classified under that) have maintained a respectable presence and done their best to not strain an already tenuous relationship with the hack programmers. And in doing so, we had sort of a small understanding that they wouldn't interfere with things that were exclusively in the competitive realm with public hacks. Of course, individuals like Moto don't care enough about this community to maintain that. Moto deserves absolutely no respect here.
