For the past several months, zatic has been spending his hard earned money ensuring that the VODs we take from the YY tracker are automatically updated and fully seeded. Now, his bandwidth is at an end.
For his great service, and amazing bottle opening abilities at WWI (seriously he popped open bottles with his teeth it was awesome) he gets a star as a "high-quality poster"
I have talked to zatic about the future and he has agreed to continue to update the tracker with VODs. HOWEVER, he will not be providing bandwidth, so we will essentially be leeching off of the YY initial seeders.
So, if you download a new torrent, you MUST continue to seed the torrent until the majority of people have downloaded. The activity on these torrents are very predictable, and die down after a couple days. It is IMPERATIVE that you continue to seed until the # of seeders eclipses the number of leechers. If you use the system correctly, we can be a big help to YY, if you don't, you will kill it for us all.
If you do not have a good enough connection, or think you want to use your bandwidth for other things, please wait for the YouTube videos to come out. I will be in contact with the YY admins to monitor this use. I really don't want to put ratio requirements on the tracker, but that is the next step.
Remember, this service is a privilege, not a right. It requires all people participating to be mature about it.

Thank you for providing this service to us, it really helps us get on top of those recent games. 
(I hope this isn't off topic.
As a side note, if anyone needs quick VODs, and has a decent connection, feel free to check out the VODs on Daum Pot Player. Feel free to ask if you can't find the VODs.

O, and so it is not all doom and gloom, zatic is working on a long term solution for everything. Not only can he open beers with his eyes, but he is also an amazing coder. Go check out his blog for tons of useful TL scripts.

I'm on a fast line and when my new computer arrives in a few weeks (increasing HD space from 60GB to 750GB...) I intend to have like 100GB for TL torrents.
I leave my computer on daytime while im at work, so if it is easy to make a script that auto-adds new torrents from teamliquid, I would have it running daytime.

I have only used the tracker for TL-event vods in the last few months, but I think I may consider it my duty as a TL.netter to download and see every vod from now on :D

In a week I'll be back at university with a relatively good internet connection. I'll be able to seed 10 hours a day or so.

I dont know anything about RSS, but I googled it quickly and found out that utorrent actually has support for it. It even had that special "RSS" button that ive always wondered what it did. 
So i added http://www.teamliquid.net/tracker/rss2.php to utorrent now. Is that what im supposed to do? the example on utorrents homepage had a /rss.xml adress... Does anyone know if i did it correctly?

I was playing around with the setting when suddenly it auto-added 14 torrents from TL, completely shutting down any attempts of activity on my poor slow computer.
So for those that are interested, this is how to auto add all torrents from TL:

The RSS feed contains the 20 most recent torrents. That should be perfect if you want to help seeding. I don't know utorrent, you will probably have to remove older torrents manually.
100 Mbit residential is so imba. Do you get a static IP?

I always seed until I upload at least 1.5x the file size and the peers start going down.

Crap, this could be a problem.
I share my Internet access with my entire family, and using torrents absolutely kills anything else that can be done while the torrent is up. As such, I can't keep anything up for very long, and only while I'm the only one using the Internet. Anything else and I get yelled at.
I'll do what I can, but it's just my luck that I'd be forced to watch low-quality videos because of something that I can't do anything about...

My brothers don't go to sleep until around 3AM, and by that time, I'm usually in bed.
I could just leave my computer on and set utorrent to be active from around 4-8 AM, but that might result in the typical "You're wasting electricity, costing us money, etc." tirade. I'll try it though and see what happens.
I really do appreciate this service, so I'm going to do everything I can to help. And if it turns out that I can't fulfill the requirements, then I'll wait for YouTube. That would be a little disappointing, but oh well. Others that -can- help deserve that spot downloading.

Youtube videos should be up on nevake's channel fairly quickly in the future. If you still want to download just wait until the torrent is sufficiently distributed (seeders > leechers).

In a week or two, im moving to a university thing, and I think I'll get a pretty decent connection (50mbit or something), I dont know how much download traffic there is on the torrents, but I'll try to seed the recent torrents as much as possible.
