I'll check into this, I think the problem is the GOMTV indexer checks the index during live games, figures "oh hey that event is in the past, ignore it" and then the links get removed. Otherwise, the links for live games are supposed to stay there for 6 hours (since the indexer has no way to tell when the games actually ended).

yeah Despite how many times I try I still end up getting the "You need GOMTV" screen yet the first time it has worked. I have no idea what to do, please help =[

I have a few questions about the links to get the live streams going in VLC. I spent some time toying with those last night during the MSL Survivor without success. This was my first time trying to open an external stream with VLC, so is it possible there's some setting I need there that I'm missing? My attempts to just copy/paste the link in under http seemed to result in VLC opening the stream, deciding there was nothing there to play and stopping. Didn't get an error message or anything else helpful to post, unfortunately.
It also struck me as slightly odd that the link for VLC should be the same as the one for Gom Player, but then it is a PHP file and I don't know nearly enough about PHP to (or the respective media players, for that matter) to really say anything about that.
Any help getting this to work via VLC would be greatly appreciated, as being on a Mac it's pretty much my only chance of being able to watch games live.

i dont see the index... i put # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. # # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol. # # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost 65.98.84.21 tv.gomtv.com and after that it didnt show the index when i ran gomtv.... help?

You saved it? Restarted gom player? You have the korean gom player right? Not the english one?
Works for me, you must have done something wrong.

If it doesn't work after properly editing the hosts file, you or your ISP have a (possibly transparent) web proxy that is interfering with it.

i don't know how you get up a list of viseos...what button do u push? i only get up the player window. there is a button called playlist, but nothing is there. this might seem stupid...but even without this hack...what button is there to push?

With the new sexy Korean GOM Index, I find if you know where to go, it ain't necessary anymore to use this.
I barely get any You Need GOM TV! Errors now.
