That was not an attack to you. I just mean there are a lot of tourneys and side events to be excited about this time. And i just remember you were talking about how very few events there was. i would ban someone cheating but for lag? at least allow certain amount of chinese players that do want to participate and dont ban the whole country,.
the main reason people from outside Asia (China) player dont engage that much with Chinese brood war scene is because of the language barrier not because of lag.

The lag issue is for viewer experience and competitive integrity. Players have been having issues with too much lag to Chinese players during BSL tournament and viewers also don't want to watch a lag fest either where mistakes are made by both players. This isn't a "well, they both have lag so it evens out" argument, it's a "this sucks to play for the players and sucks for the viewers who get a worse viewing product".
As for Chinese players wanting to engage but can't because of language barrier, how do you know this? I haven't seen them try to interact with the foreign community at all.

Both players are experiencing lag, sure. But how is it equal footing when the lagger always has home field advantage? Meaning every single game they play in is laggy, giving them a big micro advantage as they are used to the lag. It's normal for them. The non lagger has to adjust their micro timings to the lag which is easier said than done.

Chinese players or fans are not interested in our scene at all. They are interested in korean scene and they have 0 interest in us. As full time sc players who earn their livings by playing games, why would they be interested in foreign scene where 1-2 full time gamers and almost no one sponsors their players? They play this game for their living, and only reason they play bsl is because prizepool is decent.

TBH, I though about unbaning Dandy and Casper, to give everyone fresh start with fresh rules. I even told Dewalt, that if Casper will apologize to me and bsl publicly and act well, he can play in NW and BSL. I told UltrA the same thing to say to Dandy, as he asked about him for Nation Wars.
G5 was banned for only one season, he can play if he wants to.
