If it is just the USA finals that you won't be shoutcasting are you saying there is a chance they won't support you to shoutcast the world finals?

Ok, update. So i just spoke with DjWheat @ GGL. You probably remember him from casting w/ Tasteless at WCG Monza last year and other places i cant remember right now. Anyways, i was asking him for an email address and he laid it all out to me. GGL and WCG kind of work in a partnership to send ITG casters to the events. Because of cut funding i assume on both sides Wheat had to make an executive decision as to whether a) Send Tasteless to WCG USA Finals b) Send Tasteless to WCG Grand Finals So obviously it was a pretty easy choice. What this means - There isn't a caster for WCG USA Finals that we know of unless as was the case with Tasteless years ago, a player says "hey give me a shot" (cough nony, cough inc). ----- Where we (the community) come in If you want to vent your frustrations on DjWheat, watch www.epilepticgaming.com every night @ 7pm EST 5pm PST. You can call in live and tell him. I completely support him in this decision. In a half hour or so i should have the email address for the/a WCG USA Rep who we can spam with emails. Now i'm not going to get my hopes up but if we can show them how imperative it is that Tasteless not be replaced with some nub in Florida then who knows. Email Address to come here: -> | ||

My fear is that there will be too many people that send this guy garbage so that he gets fed up and wont even release replays. By the way, for the WCG USA finals I would like to see 3 good commentators covering it in english, similar to the korean method. I think that Tasteless, Day, and Bunny (with some more experience) would be awesome. Too my knowledge (please correct if wrong) the korean commentators all have assigned rolls. 1 is the 'announcer', the other gives 'insight', and I dont know what the other one does. This is basically just what I have been able to glean from random posts from tl.net. When you watch the vods you always get the feeling that what they are doing is 'professional'. They seem to have set up when to look where, and basically how to make it as fun too watch as possible. If you want too see what I mean about the professional feel of casting, watch any recent vod from OGN/MBC then watch any Kespa Cup vod. There is a huge difference. | ||

However its basically all that we have, the only way to make it better is for fans to collaborate and put the pressure on the top dogs for a overall better experience.
