BW has plenty of boomers playing and the scene is essentially funded by Afreeca. i guess the scene will be selfsustaining as long as the expros continue to stream BW with sizable viewership i pretty sure flash will get to stream after military. tho im just basing it on hwasin a more grievous sinner who got a chance to stream on Afreeca some time back but got booted out only because of recalcitrance | ||

BW is more popular overall but not popular enough to generate many new pro players long-term. The vast majority of the Under-21 crowd in Korea that want to become esports pros are laser-focused on League of Legends. They have little interest in the StarCraft franchise as a whole. | ||
