Even after seeing mini look absolutely amazing versus Queen, I’m still going Larva. I would have gone Hero too for that matter. Queen looked very shaky in PvZ and Larva has looked amazing. His macro is particularly impressive. Plus ANY of the top 5 zerg always have a good chance of winning straight up with 3 or 5 hatch hydra aggression. Other than Mini getting lucky with the proxy gates, when is the last time you saw Protoss take a game early?

Zerg can with with Hydra, speedling surprise, muta surprise, lurker contain, or late game hive tech easily if they can keep up in macro. Toss has much fewer ways to win.

For all these reasons, I’m picking Larva 4-2

Hard to choose between them.

Rooting for Mini because I like Toss but after seeing Larva in FlaSh's military fareweel video saying that he will defend the throne until he returns, I kinda wanted him to win as well.

Hope this will be a good series regardless.

I guess, Larva 4-0 Mini. Mini used all his strategies in the match Mini vs ZerO. So standard games are free win for Larva.

So we will either have a new protoss champ (and a PvZ revolution lite) or see Larva finally making it thanks to the effort he has been putting in all these years (and get a brand new kong as a byproduct).

Both scenarios are extremely good for the scene. So in the grand scheme of things, this is amazing regardless of who will win.

As for the games themselves, this is where I have concerns. Chances are, Mini is out of builds while Larva is well-prepared. Another possibility is that Mini's offbeat builds haven't really been solved yet, and zergs are unsure about what to do exactly.

I do hope it won't be one-sided but it very well might.

I think Mini should take an aggressive approach against Larva, similar to what he did against Queen. Larva generally tends to do significantly better when he's allowed to breathe in the early/mid game.
Meanwhile Larva should just do the usual zerg thing, mostly doing standard builds and throwing in just enough risky builds/strats (both aggressive and passive) to keep Mini guessing throughout the match.
I doubt we could have a more uncertain and evenly matched finals than this one. It's gonna be exciting.

My heart is rooting for Larva but I'm so impressed with Mini vs Queen in the semis that I think he might take it. Either way I'll be very happy for the winner, they both show that they love the game so much
